I also work with scared dogs that are terrified of having their nails done as I have completed a fear free CE. I believe in less is more and distracting is key. Every home is different and requires different services. Don’t hesitate to ask, it doesn’t hurt to find out because I am a vet tech and can do many things.

HALO Animal Rescue will be hosting a vaccination clinic this Saturday, Nov. 2nd at the main shelter located at 3227 E Bell Rd, Ste D151 in Phoenix from 10am – 1pm. HALO will offer Rabies, Bordetella, and DA2PP vaccines for dogs and FVRCP and Rabies for cats. Nail trims, microchips and dewormer are also being offered. All dogs must be on a leash or in a carrier and cats must be in a carrier. The line may be closed depending on demand. No appointment necessary.

I will miss you Scoobs 🐶❤️ He is one of my special boys that wanted to be swaddled, in my lap, during his nail trims. Mom, Dianne, also had the most patient older pup named Huckabee. One thing I will never do is push a senior dog to complete a nail trim. We learned early on that he need breaks and love/reassurance that he was the best boy!

Thank you for allowing me to take care of your pack for 3.5 years 🐶🐶❤️ I will miss you two. Stay tuned for updates of Scoobys new life in Germany.

Yes, this pup stole my clippers and ran outside with them. Moments later, we are back outside trying to get my little trimmer bag back. I couldn’t help but laugh hysterically 😂🐶❤️

Side note: The new reminder system is failing. I have had multiple clients reach out regarding missed appointments. There isn’t an explanation that I can come up with on my end. We found the booking confirmation and email. For whatever reason, the day of it’s not even there/on my calendar.

At this time, I will no longer be using the Google reminder system. Sorry for any inconvenience this is caused to other clients that may not have advised me. It is not my intention to stand you up, and I apologize. Please please let me know if we have had a scheduling mishap since switching. Thank you all!

60 hrs later this is my Pacino boy just doing contortion on the couch 🐶❤️ Have you ever had a pet that experienced anaphylactic shock? I feel lucky that it was my first time having to go through this with my personal pet.

We taught them to love each other by having Audrey feed Charlie treats from her hand. She thought this was hilarious and Charlie trusted her touch. ❤️ Best friends for almost 8 years 🐶 His whole life I had always done his grooming at home. Most of the time he definitely appeared as though he had received a mom‘s home haircut.
