🌸Poppy is an adorable Galah Cockatoo who has been through so much😢. When she first came, she would have non-stop panic attacks that resembled seizures😱.
🥰With lots of time, love, and security, Poppy has slowly come out of her shell to trust certain people😇. At this point, she only has panic attacks a few times a day... which is a huge improvement😀.
⛰️Poppy's journey has just begun. We have an appointment for next Thursday🏥 @azexoticanimalhospital to get her checked out, so hopefully we will have a better plan to care for her soon💕.

For those of us who have been keeping up to date with Poppy's journey 🌟, you know how hard things have been for her 😔. Due to abuse from her past 💔, she would have near-constant panic attacks throughout the day 😥 and terrible nightmares throughout the night 🌙💤.
Slowly but surely, at Valleywide Parrot Rescue 🦜❤️, she has been rediscovering her true self 🌈✨. She started opening up more to the volunteers 🥰. At this point, her panic attacks happen only several times a day... Which is huge progress 🎉👏.

Doug got her a nice running waterfall 🌊, which calms her down as it puts her into an almost meditative trance 🧘♀️. Lisa has been able to reach her and spend time with her in ways no one else can 🌺💕.
