When she first arrived, Lucy was battling a kidney issue 🏥, and she was understandably a bit withdrawn and quiet 😔. But thanks to proper treatment, loving care, and lots of patience 🫶, Lucy now has a full bill of health from the vet ✅ and is feeling better than ever!

Lala and Ricochet are The two biggest😁 additions to Valleywide Parrot Rescue 🦜. Over the past few weeks, they have gotten more and more comfortable with us.

At this point, Ricochet will step🪜 onto a perch on command. From there, she feels comfortable stepping onto our arms💪, to play with us. She's a great talker and has a large vocabulary🗣️.

Meanwhile, Lala has been opening up like crazy😛. Now, when there's somebody that he is interested in, he will walk down his cage, and walk over to the person's foot👟. From there, he will let them pick him up.

🦜Lucy is a loving African Grey who brightens up our day! Unfortunately, she isn't feeling too good 😥. She has very loose, wet stools which dehydrated her and make her feel very lethargic🫤.

🚑Today we took her to 🏥to get her checked out. Dr. Zion was very gentle and caring🧑‍⚕️ with her. After careful examination, and a few tests, we took her home.

💩The f***l test looked good👍, so now we're just waiting on the results of the blood test. In the meantime, she will be kept quarantined😷 from the rest of the birds🦜.

🥳🥳🥳Congratulations to Leo on finding his forever home. When Leo first came here, he was scared and confused🥺.

He originally came from a Russian🇷🇺 restaurant where he was neglected😓.
When he came here, He didn't want to have anything to do with people. Luckily, I speak Russian, and was able to reach him.

It feels like it's been such a short time⏰, but he is now a totally different bird! Happy, talkative, playful, and very gentle 🥰.

We wish him a bright and beautiful future with his new home, and can't wait till he starts speaking Spanish🇲🇽! Then he'll be trilingual 🤣.

Despite Eep’s tough journey — after an 😢 accident that broke off the top of his 🐥 beak — he’s healing 🌱 beautifully and ready for this next chapter. His 💪 strength and 🕊️ spirit have been truly 🌟 inspiring!
