Discussion: care, adoption & more Older Cats can live out their lives I'm peace.

We encourage & support Animal Lovers, Charitable Organizations for animals, Adoptions of cats/kittens, fosters, & sanctuaries specially for animals without homes. Our goals are to share information about cats both domestic & wild. Spread the Word about Maricopa County having the largest stray cat population in the country. We want to eventually generate funds for a Sanctuary with several acres of

land designed habitats & indoor housing & care facility for wild, feral, & domestic cats. While young cats & kittens can work with fosters to readjust the to people.

Siamese Cats

The Siamese Cats are one of the first recognized Asian breeds. In the 1900's,
the Siamese Cat was very popular in Europe & the United States.

They have distinctive characteristics like large almond shaped blue eyes, triangular shaped head & slender elongated body.

Siamese Cats are usually affectionate & extroverted. Many enjoy being with people & some strongly bond with one person.

Snowshoe Cats

In the 1960's, the United States became the home of a rare breed of cat known as the Snowshoe Cat. The Snowshoe cat was noticed when a breeder produced three Siamese kittens with white paws. Then bred them with American Shorthair Cats among other breeds.

They have blue eyes & come with blue, lilac, fawn, chocolate, & seal point colour coats. Snowshoe kittens are born white with their individually unique markings appearing in 1-3 weeks.

Snowshoe cats are gentle & mild temperaments. They like the company of humans & other pets. They are very social & are devoted to their owners Perfect for families.

Tortoise Shell Cats

Tortoise Shell is a genetic defect that effects the coats of cats. The coats may be in various colors or patterns; But most are black & ginger with touches of beige and white.

The cats are mostly females with rare males which are sterile. Indoor Cats Lifespans are
12 years to 20 years with cats facing outdoor dangers 5 years to 10 years.

Beautiful cats that make perfect companions.

Domestic Cat breeds originate in Kenya, Africa, the United States & Denmark.

Some of this cats features include adept climbers & very active. They are vocal with their owners. Fiercely, loyal cats bonding with their owner or family.

This wild cat roams Western & Southern Africa. Very little information on this wild cat.

It has a golden colored coat & weighs from 8 to
15 lbs.

Black Footed Cat

One of the smallest of the wildcats acquired it's name with its black padded feet.

The adults weigh 2.2 - 5lbs. The native countries are South Africa, Botswana, & Nambia. The status in the wild is vulnerable.

They are cunning & furious in the wild.

American Wirehair Cats

The American Wire Hair originates in Upstate New York.

This breed is very rare in the United States & unheard of in Europe. The American Wire Hair is a genetic mutation like many other breeds.

The breeds temperament is inquisitive, bold, intelligent, Social
& affectionate.

A good breed for a companion for both kids & adults. They are good with dogs & other pets There lifespan 20-16 yrs.

Pixie Bob

This domestic hybid cat's resembles the naturally occuring hybrid, the Bobcats.

The Pixie Bob considered only domestic cats for ownership, Cat Fanciers registration, and import or export.

Pixie Bobs are friendly, & mostly
sociable with their owner & strangers.
They like to follow their owners around the house.

Pixie Bobs are highly intelligent, bold, active & love playing with other animals. They rarely meow. They chirp, growl & chatter.

The Pixie Bob is bred to look like an American Bobcat.

Serengeti Cats

This wild cat is a Mix between two domestic mix breeds, the Bengal & the Oriental Shorthair. They are know for their slim line body & exotic spotted coat. They are between 10"-12" & weigh about 15lbs.

They are very active, agile & vocal. Life Expectancy of 8yrs.-12yrs.

Khao Manee Cat

This is a rare domestic breed originally from Thailand. The ancestry traces back hundreds of years. They are stocky, strong, & shorthaired white cats.

The Khao Manee are playful & intelligent with jewel toned eyes of different colors. They are said to bring good luck to their owners.

Jaguarundi

This wild cat is a medium size cat which is twice as large as the domestic house cat. It's cost coloration is black & red. The Jaguarundi is also known as the
"Otter Cat".

The Jaguarundi is seen mostly in Central America along the Andes Mountains as far as Brazil & Argentina.
Habitats vary from forests, shrubs, & even desert areas.
They hunt during the day & evening.
The prey is birds, reptiles, rodents, & small mammals.

The Jaguarundi are
secretive & alert. They are gregarious,
Active, & excellent climbers. In the wild they are mostly solitary or in pairs.
Large habitats are best for this wild cat.
