Equine Guided Healing with Laurie Roach, MS. Certified Equine Assisted Coach You do not need experience with horses in order to enjoy this experience.

Horses are scientifically proven to help calm and heal humans by just their presence. This is an opportunity to come work on your individual goals so that you can become the person that you deserve to be. Sessions include, but are not limited to, ground work with horses, over coming obstacles, meditation, and letting the horse share space with you. Horses bring out a calming sensation for humans w

hen they share the same space together. Please note: This is not a horseback riding experience. It is equine assisted coaching on the ground with the horse as the assistant and yourself as the participant along with my help as a Psychologist (coach). I love helping people learn the love of the horse and the healing that can come from interacting with horses. I have 30 years of experience in horsemanship and over 20 years experience working with adults and children who have encountered trauma. I have recently combined both my past experience with both things that I love; horses and mental health (healing).

I wanted to give an update for all my Jax lovers at PickSix Equine. Today he moved to a new job of helping a horse who lost her companion horse this morning. Jax immediately adjusted to his new home and gave his new friend Phoenix a calm place to grieve her friend. Jax has helped so many humans this last year and now it was his time to help another horse. He is still in the area and we are able to visit if any of you would like to see him again. Thank you Jax for all your hard equine assisted therapy work. Enjoy your retirement and I will see you soon! ❤️🐴❤️

Hondo is really enjoying being a therapy horse. I cannot express how much a horse can change your mood within seconds. I was feeling a little defeated today and I went to Hondo for some guidance. Thank you, Hondo, for getting me out of that place in my head that overthinks. I know that I am doing all the things I need to be doing for myself right now. I just needed a little extra support. Even equine assisted therapists need their own sessions. After my time with him I had a really good confident ride in the arena on Pickett. ♥️🐴♥️

The connection between this young lady and this rescue gelding, Button, are extremely strong. Watching them grow & trust each other is a very powerful experience to witness. Believe it or not this horse was unable to trust or be near humans just a couple months ago.

My young client reflected on her experience with him 2 weeks ago and today. She explained that 2 weeks ago he knew she was really sad and approached her and she felt a connection to him. He told her that she will be okay. The client had some good experiences since that encounter and she told me today that Button was aware that she was happier and they were able to share that feeling together. ♥️

I've never seen this young lady smile and laugh as much as she did today. When telling her mother about her experience she was beaming and they both were hugging each other as she shared her experience.

This young lady has been wanting to just "be a kid" lately and today she got to be just that. A happy child who deserves to be just that; happy.
