Do NOT place your lost pet’s litter outside as a scent lure. Litter attracts predators and bully cats to the area which can flush your pet further into hiding. Post your lost pet on Craigslist, in both the Lost and Found, and Pets, sections. Check the found pet postings for your cat. Also, post on the neighborhood site, www.Nextdoor.com and on the Neighbors App by Ring: https://ring.com/neighbors. Flyer as large an area as possible and speak to your neighbors personally. He knows his name and usually comes to it, but he can be shy towards strangers especially when scared. Milo is a savvy hunter. The absolute sweetest kitty and was adopted with his brother a year and half ago and his brother, human siblings and myself miss him and love him so much and would be grateful for any help to get him back home.

Scammers are always looking for new ways to prey on people. Please do not share these types of posts. Here are some ways to identify that it is scam:

LOST PET FACEBOOK SCAMMERS
1. Most of these scam posts use a hashtag with the location - like # Bradenton (space left intentionally)
2. These scammers profiles do not match and generally come from other countries. They are getting smarter and hiding their "friends" from foreign countries.
3. Comments are almost always turned off.

Always look a little deeper into who posted something you are about to share on social media, just in case...and NEVER click any links!

Putting a name tag on your cat is an easy & inexpensive way to help your cat find it's way back to you if it's been lost! Another option is a custom engraved collar, from places like Etsy.

This machine or ones like it are at many different retail locations & will engrave your custom tag while you wait! Please consider getting a tag or engraved collar for your cat today!
