Happy International Day of yoga!
Im so blessed to have found the most welcoming yoga studio 2.5 yrs ago. I've met amazing instructors who have taught me and pushed me to be better not just in my practice but also inside this brain of mine.
The first 4 pics are from a goat yoga event today! 🐐
The rest is a little of what my body was able to do and what Im working to get back into❤️

Soy kuy afortunada de haber encontrado el mejor estudio de yoga hacen ya 2.5 años. He tenido instructores brutales que me han enseñado y me han empujado a ser mejor no solo en mi práctica pero también dentro de esta cabeza mía que no se calla.

Today, on Veterinary Appreciation Day, we recognize and celebrate the dedication of every member of the veterinary team that cares for our patients.
Gracias👇🏾
- to those who have had the painful task to teach me🤗
- to those that have had my back; whether that is monitoring anesthesia, restraining so I dont get eaten, helping me when I was sick/injured, reminding me to eat, double checking my math...
- to those who have endured with me long days (and nights), trips, heat, cold, full schedules
- to those who trust me enough to teach them
- to those supporting my new dream in Street Paws 🐾

At Street Paws Wellness Project, we help pets that belong to unhoused individuals.
🐕‍🦺We help with everyday necessities like food, bowls, leashes, booties, beds, etc.
💉We also provide vaccines, spay/neuter vouchers, exams, ear/skin/flea/tick medications, etc.
💸ALL FREE OF CHARGE 💸
🫱🏻‍🫲🏾We meet wonderful pet parents who, despite experiencing housing insecurities or homelessness they still decide to keep their pets and take wonderful care of them.
❤️That's why, besides pet/vet products, we would love to provide some basic hygiene items for them. Please check out the lists and help us where you can. 💻Even a share, tag, etc. helps SO MUCH!
We have volunteers around the Valley that can pick up.

7 yrs ago, I officially became Dr. Zue Webster Alvarez. The amount of work, sweat, tears, and effort it took wouldn't fit with the caption limit. But we did it👩‍🎓👩🏾‍⚕️
Being Puerto Rican🇵🇷, speaking Spanish, and being a 1st Gen are all a HUGE part of who I am as a person and a doctor. So, although today I celebrate, I also want to ask if you are someone who feels that people who are "different" should be treated as less than human; check yourself. I am part of many "different" groups, I love countless people who are too. I can assure you most of what you hear in the news is not true. If you got questions- ask away✌🏽
Un día como hoy hace 7 años oficialmente me convertí en la Dra. Zue Webster Alvarez. La cantidad de trabajo, sudor, lágrimas y esfuerzo que tomó no cabrían en el espacio. Pero lo hicimos.👩‍🎓👩🏾‍⚕️
Ser boricua, hablar español, ser primera generación son una gran parte de quien soy como persona y como doctora. Y aunque hoy celebro, también te quiero pedir que si eres alguien que siente que las personas que son "diferentes" deben ser tratadas como menos que humanas... Tienes que autonalizarte. Yo soy parte de muchos grupos "diferentes" y amo mucha gente que también lo son y te puedo asegurar que la mayoría de las cosas que escuchas en las noticias no son verdad. June is Pride Month. It is a time to celebrate and support the LGBTQA+ community. On this page, EVERYBODY is welcomed.
But we live in a world where those who love "different" have less rights, higher risk of being victims of hate crimes, and higher su***de rates. And until we live in a time where having to "come out of a closet" is no longer a thing we will celebrate and support LGBTQ+, and while we are at in Black, Indigenous, People of Color etc. I hope you have the day you deserve 🌈
Junio es el Mes de Orgullo LGBTQA+. Un tiempo para celebrar y apoyar esta comunidad. Y en esta página TODES son bienvenidos. Pero vivimos en un mundo donde los que aman "diferente" tienen menos derechos, son más propensos a crímenes de odio y una tasa de suicidios más alta. Así que hasta que ya "salir del closet" no exista seguiremos celebrando y apoyando la comunidad LGBTQA+. Y mientras estamos hablando de esto también los Negros, Indígenas, Personas de Color etc. Espero que tengas el día que te mereces🌈
