💗 A Tribute to Lady fka June 💗

Lady (HFG name June) was in medical foster for two years with a loving Home Fur Good volunteer and passed away on Thursday, 3/29. Her foster mom, Melissa, took her everywhere and gave her the best 2years of her life. Here is Melissa’s tribute to her beloved Lady.

"My sweet girl, Lady (June), is now eternally resting. 💔 She came into my life at a time when I felt like I was spiraling with nothing to hold on to. But God used her to bring happiness to my home, joy to heart, and adventure to my life.

She loved taking walks in the neighborhood, going for car rides, running in wide-open grass and eating chicken flavored . . . well, everything! We were joined at the hip on most days as I carried her almost everywhere in her favorite carrier (pictured). It was where she was happiest, seeing the world around her.

I will miss that stubborn yet spunky, timid though tenacious, chill and confident pupper. She put up a strong fight till the end with a heart murmur that progressed into congestive heart failure. She was part of my family, and I will miss her dearly. ♥️🙏🏾 Rest in eternal peace, baby girl!"

Here are some pictures of my boy Jack. Love him from the little black spot on his chin to the end of his very crooked tail. He gets along with all three of his fellow felines. He has been a playmate for three other kittens who also went through Home Fur Good for adoption. He is a very good boy!

Skye, a sweet two-year-old, 11-pound Miniature Australian Shepherd, has found her perfect forever home! Her new mom and dad instantly recognized her potential and were drawn to her playful and lively spirit. Understanding that Skye is still learning to fully trust the world around her, they patiently approached her with care, giving her the space and time she needed to feel safe.

Skye, who sometimes feels a little unsure when people stand up or when she’s in unfamiliar situations, couldn’t have found a more loving and understanding family. Mom and Dad’s gentle approach and willingness to let Skye set the pace have already helped her start building confidence. They’re committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where their adorable girl can continue to thrive.

💞A VERY SPECIAL PUPDATE FROM PIPER AND JESSI💞

HFG volunteer Jessi was devastated when she lost her recently adopted dog, Serena, to cancer. Jessi continued to volunteer at HFG during this dark time of grieving and met Piper. Piper had been found, terrified, wandering the streets perilously close to a busy highway. She found a safe haven at HFG. There was something about Piper that reached out to Jessi, telling her they needed each other. And so, Jessi took Piper home. Here is a wonderful Pupdate on their life together.
“Hi, everyone! Greetings from me, Jessi, and Piper. I want to share with you the amazingness of Piper and what she means to me. I am having daily treatments of magnetic stimulation for my brain. It's stressful and somewhat painful. It's five days a week for eight weeks. Two days of the week I also have infusions which take another 90 minutes.

Piper comes with me to the clinic and sees me through all this. I could not do it without her! She is absolutely the perfect match for me and this journey. Piper is now a Service Dog, and she absolutely loves it! I didn't have to teach her anything, just reinforce what she already does. This is a dog who lies all over me and wants to be in constant contact with me. It’s just what I need right now. She loves the people who transport me. She loves the staff who treat me at the clinic. She even has a group of friends who are also patients at that clinic. It’s quite a fan club!

I couldn't ask for a better companion, and I can't thank everyone who helped me adopt her enough. I know Serena brought Piper to me just when I needed her!”

Those honey brown eyes alone should be enough to drawyou in. We know they make us melt!🤎

Jupiter is 5-years-old and while he can be initially reserved of new people, it takes no time at all for him to warm up to you and happily accept full body pets. Jupiter is a total goofball who knows “sit” and loves to chase after toys. He does great on walks, you may just stop a few extra times as he loves to get several good plant sniffs in!

HAPPY GOTCHA DAY, SATURN AND MARS!!! 🥳🥳

Congratulations to Saturn and Mars on their out-of-this-world adoptions! These two sweet boys were found wandering the streets together and were taken in by Home Fur Good, where they received the love and care they needed. While Saturn quickly gained confidence, Mars remained a bit shy and leaned on his buddy for support.
Saturn’s journey led him to a wonderful family who had previously adopted another dog from Home Fur Good four years ago. When Saturn met his new sibling, it was clear that he had found his perfect match! But we couldn’t help but wonder how Mars would adjust without his trusted friend.

We didn’t need to worry! The very next day, Mars attended an adoption event and met his forever mom, who has amazing plans for him—long walks, fun playtime in the yard, and plenty of love and spoiling.

Congratulations, Saturn and Mars! You’ve both found your happily-ever-afters!

HAPPY GOTCHA DAY TO DAENERY, KHALISEE, AND ARYA!!! 🥳🥳🥳

Home Fur Good is thrilled to share the wonderful news—three adorable puppies have been adopted! Their brave furmom came to the shelter very pregnant and was placed in a loving foster home, where she gave birth to a beautiful litter of little furry potatoes. These sweet pups quickly grew into playful bundles of joy, ready to bring love and laughter to their forever families.

The foster family couldn’t resist the charm of two of the puppies, Daenery and Khalisee, and decided to make them a permanent part of their home. These lucky girls now have two big dog siblings to help guide them as they grow and learn. Not long after Daenery and Khalisee settled in, their sister Arya found her own wonderful home with a loving new mom.

Congratulations to these precious pups and their families! Wishing you all many years filled with tail wags, belly rubs, and endless love.
