Happy Monday Cruzaders! We wanted to show you the power of rescue… Trixie was rescued from our partner shelter in Santa Cruz. She was a hot mess. Her personality hidden by horrible Demodex mange. Fast forward just a few months and 4 treatments with Nexgard and look at this tiny beauty thriving in foster care. ♥️ the final step for her before adoption is her spay which we are getting scheduled. This is where donations go. This is what they do. This is also the outcome of amazing fosters willing to take on the perfection hidden under the wounded outside. What an amazing journey this girl has had thanks to the people who said yes. Become a foster family today. Good evening Cruzaders! No clue why, but these 2 boys continue event after event to be passed by. Thea 8 month old, boxer mix brothers are simply amazing. They are on the smaller size at around 35 pounds. They are good on leash, good with kids, and good with other dogs. We do not know about cats. They are so well behaved and literally melt into you. They ride well in the car, sleep all night quietly in their crate, and are just sweetness wrapped in fur! Scorpio (light) and Ta**us (dark) are neutered, vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped. They have been looking for their forever home for over four months! No clue why…. But if you are looking for a nice dog or even a pair, these two are it! Adoption fee is $250 each. Good afternoon Cruzaders! We had a great event today. The boys had fun! This is such a well behaved group! I can’t believe these dogs are still here event after event! Scorpion and Ta**us have been with us the longest out of this group. Corn Dog is catching up too. The 3 boys have a special adoption fee for the remainder of the month of $250. Let’s find these 6 boys homes! ♥️

Happy Friday Cruzaders! I have lots of thank yous for the past few days. I was very sick but so many of you jumped in to save the days. Temp fostering overnight might not seem like a big deal but it made a huge difference for our baby chis. And a friend jumping in to pick up and drop off our 3 newbies from Yuma was great! Everyone was delivered safely to fosters… and our new foster couple Lisa and Ron, thank you for picking up Trixie yesterday. We also want to thank those of you who donated to Captain Yardstick’s surgery. We ended up being about $600 short after some meds needing to be changed due to an infection he had… so, if you have some spare funds, anything would be helpful. She is good with other dogs and people. She is a great size at around 35 pounds. She is house trained, dog door trained, and crate trained. She would be a wonderful addition to an active family or individual needing a hiking or running buddy! Her adoption fee is $250.
