Every once in a while, a dog comes along who touches your heart in ways you never expected. Bass is one of those dogs. 💘
Bass is a young pit bull who been through so much, yet still has sooo much love to give—if only he could find the right person to give it to. 🥺 He is a happy, silly, smart, LOVING 6-year-old with the cuuutest crinkly ears! 😍🥰
🏳️⚧️🚺 Bass has a special bond with women and would flourish in a home where a strong, patient woman (or two) can be his guiding light.
🚻🏡 Bass needs a calm, young child-free environment where he can feel safe and secure. Older teens are fine. His past has made him wary, and he needs a space where he can trust and feel protected.
1️⃣ 🐶 Bass has been around other dogs without issues but does best as an Only dog so he doesn’t have to share his toys. He shares happily with his people instead.
🧸 🦴 Bass loves his toys! Stuffed, hard, or edible (bully sticks), they are his joy and his friends, providing an outlet and comfort while he waits for his family to find him. 🥺
💔 Bass has been in boarding for quite some time because there’s no foster available who meets his specific needs, but boarding is not a home.
Bass needs a quiet environment, with minimal visitors and no men, although he has worked with a male trainer and did well!He’s had bad experiences, and he needs slow, gentle introductions to feel safe. His trust doesn’t come easily, but once you have it, you’ll see the depth of his love forever.
Bass isn’t just another dog in need; he’s a soul searching for his other half. Could you be the one to give him a chance? 🥺
