Our office will ble CLOSED on Monday September 1st to honor the Labor Day holiday. We do have some openings for this week if you need us!

If your pet needs a refill of medication, please (call today!) allow up to 2 business days for the request to be processed. If your pet has an emergency and we are unavailable, please refer to your local emergency veterinary hospital: Pet ER in Hunt Valley, Animal Emergency in Bel Air, Urgent Vet Care in Cockeysville, or Mason Dixon Animal Animal Emergency in Shrewsbury. We will reopen on Tuesday, September 2nd at 8am (phones turn on at 7:30).

We hired one person and are still seeking one other enthusiastic and detail oriented person who can help take care of dogs and cats who are boarding ( a mix of mornings, evenings, and weekends are required). Responsibilities include walking/ playtime, cleaning and providing basic animal and customer care. Please reach out to Holly to inquire within 410-666-1390.

We are thrilled to announce the addition of Dr. Madison Coll to our team of Veterinarians! Dr. Coll started working at Jacksonville Vet in 2015 as an animal caretaker in our kennel. She left for college and was employed as a Veterinary technician during her undergrad at the University of Delaware. Dr. Coll is a 2024 graduate from the Long Island University College of Veterinary Medicine. She shares a love for both animals and people, and has a particular interest in surgery, geriatrics, and integrative medicine. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, singing for her small local band, and cheering for her home team- the Baltimore Ravens.

Dr. Coll is passionate about helping animals, and very easy to talk to. She fits in nicely among all of our Doctors, and we think you will love her! With the addition of Dr. Coll, we are excited to have the availability to offer more appointments and longer office hours.

Today we celebrated Dr. Michele Burk's 30th Anniversary of working at Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital!!!! What an amazing life accomplishment and a testament to her dedication and commitment to Veterinary Medicine and to JVH. It is our privilege to have her share her expertise here for so long! Dr. Burk is not only a wealth of knowledge for her colleagues and clients, but a patient advocate, and a wonderfully compassionate and kind -hearted person in general. While working here full time she has managed to remain a devoted wife and mother. How incredibly admirable! Help us congratulate her and share your experience if you wish! THANK YOU DR. BURK!! 💜
