Heavy duty American cow hide from a high end leather supplier. No urine cured or weak flimsy easily torn leather here. This is the same leather used on high end English Halters. Cut slightly less than 1" or 3/4" so they slide right into our buckle. Smooth light natural tan or roughout, you choose which side faces out.

Top of the line nickel plated "shiny silver" buckles with a slight curve to them to contour to the horse/donkeys head. These are the same ones we use on our halters and we are PICKY!

Throatlatch snaps.

Nickel plated "shiny silver".
Top of the line nickel plated "shiny silver" snaps. These do not swivel, they are fixed in place. Designed for our halters so you can replace a broken snap and chose to have it face in or out. Remember "out" may catch on fences, cross ties, etc. We recommend facing "in".

Halter safely stays put so your goat friend can feel the quietest of aids, they love this halter. Will not slide around or collapse against face for those mushy unclear aids that require harsher handling for communication. This is a whisper quiet humane halter.

To measure: soft tape measure (or string you measure later) behind both ears, bring outside string under head towards you, then away from you over the top of the nose (adjust where you want the halter nose to be) and back under chin towards you to make an X under the chin, then meet the other end of the string near ears where a buckle would be. Leave a few fingers of wiggle room for chewing. You are essentially making this halter with a string minus the cheeks. Cheeks measured end to end. Crown measured over head ring to ring. Top of nose measured between cheeks over the bridge of nose. Our crown pieces make these halters very adjustable.

HOW TO USE:
Simply open the chin, slide over the biggest of ears with ease and pull the lead closed (open super wide for feisty critters to casually fling from afar and quickly secure with one pull on the lead, zero drama). Perfectly weighted material means no binding, chin won’t droop open, easy to handle and soft on the face. We sell bazillions of these.

TO MEASURE
Just pick the size animal you have from our list. No need to measure. We size them here to fit most so you can make the final adjustments at home for a custom fit. Lead rope roughly 6-7’ depending on your adjustments.

ADJUSTING:
Adjust the nose by retying the knot.
Adjust the crown at the D rings.
We recommend ordering the appropriate size to keep your lead rope roughly 7’ long

The Figure 8 fits a bit different than your traditional halters. But this comfortable fit offers stability, reduces cheeks sliding into eyes and fits a wide variety of long ears.

How to Measure:
