There's a really cool dichotomy between the focus required to learn new tasks and the more "tuned out" sensation of executing tasks that we've already learned. For example, how focused were you the first time you drove a car? Versus? How tuned out are you now when you get into your car and drive to work every morning? It's kind of interesting, right? Your focused and not focused all at the same time. This is a short video explaining how I work around that with dogs.
