Meet Gatsby!

Gatsby, a 1-year, 7-month-old Border Collie and Alaskan Husky mix who’s ready to fall head over paws in love with you! He is a confident, enthusiastic, and energetic pup who loves to be active. While Gatsby may not have had much training or socialization with other dogs before arriving at the Shelter, he’s made great strides during his time with us. Gatsby has found a match made in heaven playing with our female dogs in Play Group and is tolerant of males, though he can be selective. With consistent training and reinforced structure to build his trust, we’re confident Gatsby’s smart, people-oriented nature will shine, and his behavior will continue to improve.

Gatsby loves to romp in the yard, either playing with friends or using his excellent sniffer to explore, and would be best suited with an active family. Gatsby is ready to find a home where he can grow and thrive with the right guidance and lots of love. While we are unsure of his tolerance to cats, we recommend a meet-and-greet with Gatsby and any other dogs in the household prior to adoption.

If you're ready to open your heart and home to a beautiful and fun dog, Gatsby is ready to be the life of the party!

🐾 Meet Thelma & Louise! A BONDED Pair now available for Adoption!🐾

This dynamic duo is the definition of "best friends forever!" Thelma, a sweet 10-year-old Lab mix, and Louise, an adorable 10-year-old Dachshund, are as bonded as it gets and it is our hope they can be adopted together as a pair. πŸ’•

They came into our care and have shown nothing but love and companionship for each other. Now, they’re ready to find a peaceful, low-key home where they can enjoy their golden years in blissful comfort. If you're looking for two sweet souls to share your quiet home with, Thelma & Louise are the perfect match!

Thelma, a 10-year-old Black Lab is the physical embodiment of joy. She wags her tail with enthusiastic gusto, and adores neck scratches and treats. Due to her age, she is experiencing some arthritis and would do best with continued medication to ensure pain free walks! That doesn't seem to slow her down any, as she loves to embark on walks, enjoying both sunshine afternoons and playful romps in the morning snow.

Louise is a darling 10-year-old Short Hair Red Dachshund who is as sweet as she is petite. She is most confident in her sister's presence, but has began to come out of her shell more and more with each passing day. She enjoys solo walks or being held comfortably, high above her adored sister. Louise is a sweetheart who will never say no to ear scratches and neck rubs.

These two are full of love, and in return, they just want to cuddle, nap, and enjoy their time together in a calm and loving environment. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to this precious pair, they are ready to bring all the joy and snuggles into your life!

The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will face off in the Super Bowl on February 9th.

Meet Savannah!

Savannah is a stunning 1-year, 3-month-old German Shepherd mix. This sweet and curious girl is gaining confidence as she explores the world around her. Savannah is looking for a loving and patient forever family who can support her as she continues to grow. With her smart shepherd instincts, she already knows how to sit and is sure to learn even more tricks as she settles in. Consistent training and plenty of positive reinforcement will help Savannah become a well-rounded companion and deepen the bond between her and her new family.

As Savannah adapts to her new life, her energy levels may increase, so she'll thrive with a family who can provide regular exercise and mental stimulation. While her history with cats is unknown, it's important to have any other dogs in the home meet her before adoption.

We recommend a patient, calm, and loving home for Savannah. She can be a bit nervous, easily overstimulated, and shy at times, so we suggest a slow and steady approach to training with plenty of kindness and consistency as she adjusts to her new environment.

Bring Savannah into your home today, and you'll receive unconditional love in return for helping this sweet girl thrive!

Because Savannah has been in our care for over 75 days, her adoption fee is reduced to $75!

Meet Iris!

Iris is a beautiful 5-year-old Siberian Husky who’s just as charming as she is stunning! With her captivating, mismatched eyes and soft brown-and-white coat, she's a true head-turner. But it's her sweet, affectionate personality that really steals the show. Iris loves nothing more than resting her head in your lap, asking for attention, and returning your love with a wag of her tail and a gentle kiss on your nose.

Iris is a smart girl, already knowing how to sit, and she’ll eagerly sit at your feet, patiently waiting for her next command (and a treat, of course!). With a little training, she’ll easily tackle any challenge. True to her Husky nature, Iris is an inquisitive and active dog who will need regular exercise and mental stimulation to keep her happy and healthy. She’s best suited for experienced dog owners who understand the needs of the Husky breed. Once she’s comfortable, Iris will happily share her thoughts with you, so get ready for some daily conversations! While her compatibility with cats is unknown, she’s open to meeting other dogs in the home before adoption.

If you're looking for a little extra sweetness and loyalty in your life, Iris is ready to fill your home and heart with love!
