This past Friday, members of our RWB Mesa team visited the Arizona Animal Welfare League to deliver our donation check from the Fenders + Vendors event with Las Sendas — and to meet some of the adorable animals it will help. 🐾

We got a behind-the-scenes tour of their incredible facility and even met Layne, a total sweetheart still waiting for his fur-ever home (along with so many other lovable dogs and cats).

Huge thanks to the Arizona Animal Welfare League for the life-changing work they do for animals in our community. We’re proud to support their mission and can’t wait to partner again in the future! h

Meet Athena! She’s a lovely 9-year-old lady ready to find her forever home! She can’t wait to spend her golden years being spoiled like the special girl she is. Her perfect day involves snuggling on the couch and binging your favorite tv show together. She’s already lived in a home before and is currently in a foster home so she already knows how to be the best roommate ever! She wouldn’t mind having a dog sibling at home and has lived with cats before.

Cutie patootie alert! Shakira is a sweet 2-year-old gal ready to find her forever home. She came to AAWL as a recent mama dog back in December and since then her puppies have all found their forever homes, while she waits for her much deserved pampering at home! She’s a little shy but warms up in no time with some love and treats. Did we mention she’s an extra smart girl? She already knows all her commands!

Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week! AAWL’s volunteers are constantly going above and beyond for our beloved pets from taking them on morning walks, giving them extra love inside their kennel or cat condo, to helping our clinic staff with our most vulnerable furry residents. We wouldn’t be the same without them!
