‼️ Creating a well rounded, stable and confident dog does NOT mean allowing it to say hi to every dog and person you see on your outings. ‼️

Every person and every dog you engage with is influencing your pup. For good and bad. 😅

It is okay to say no to strangers touching your dog. Maybe that stranger is coming in with too much energy and you’ve worked incredibly hard on impulse control with your dog… Maybe the stranger is patting their legs, initiating the dog to jump on them when you’ve worked so hard on creating manners and boundaries. Or maybe that person is not confident with dogs in general and you’ve been working with your dog on building confidence around people as well as neutrality. Whatever the case may be, you are your dog’s advocate! Speak up for them and protect their education. 👏💪🥰

That being said, if the person/dog has everything you need checked in order for a perfect engagement to happen, and you and your dog feel comfortable about the engagement, then proceed forward with the greeting. 🐶

Remember… you and your dog are a team. 🐾😄

🐾 The long awaited Graduate Group Classes are here! 🐾

🐶These classes are open to all graduates of Heel, Sit, Stay! 🐶

✅Graduates are allowed to attend any and all group classes. ✅

These classes will focus on refresher training, socialization around other graduates, advanced obedience, handler training, as well as being surrounded with like-minded individuals who all train similarly!

These classes are for the month of November. We will be posting our December dates later this month. If you have recommendations of locations, message us!
