About little bit about us💓: We are located in central phoenix and we provide Boarding, Doggy daycare and Grooming! We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technicians to join our team.
Job Description🐾:
As a Kennel Technician, you will be responsible for the care and well-being of the animals in our boarding facility. Your duties will include feeding, cleaning, monitoring the health of the animals, and providing them with exercise and socialization. You will also assist with the overall maintenance of the facility to ensure a safe and clean environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
• Feed and provide water to animals according to their specific dietary needs.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and surrounding areas.
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to veterinary staff.
• Provide exercise and socialization to animals, including walking dogs and interacting with cats.
• Administer medications as directed by veterinary staff.
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and any special instructions.
• Assist with the intake and discharge of boarding animals.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and organized environment in the boarding facility.
Job Requirements:
• Passion for working with animals and a commitment to their well-being.
• Previous experience working with animals is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, lifting, and walking.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
