The bunnies
This is the bunny family we have been helping another rescue with. They have been with us for the past 3 months. The babies are getting big and nearly ready for adoption pretty soon. Helping animals in need despite the hardships we endure. Every life matters 🐰🐾🐈
CLKR does more than just kitties 🥰
Yes, we are a safe place for 7 bunnies. There was an emergency situation where two bunnies were being kept in a plastic tote. They were living in a car with no food. We stepped in to offer fostering care and a safe place. These two precious bunnies were literally starving and after their arrival had not pooped for over 24 hours. They had nothing in their systems. We provided everything they needed. Come to find out that they were male and female and unaltered. The female we were told was pregnant a month prior. As it turns out she was pregnant again. We feared for the health of the babies and momma bunny for having such poor nutrition for so long.
The 5 babies were born 12/24/23.
Here they are 7 weeks old. All thriving healthy, and growing so fast. They are exploring an enrichment toy getting the yummy goodies.
We have helped so many other rescues with emergency and medical trauma kitties throughout the years. We have helped placed them into loving homes and provided the medical needs to get them healthy.
As you see , it doesn’t stop just because we are in dire need of help and support.
However, in order to be able to continue to help these precious lives and continue to keep a safe and loving home for the sanctuary kitties, we absolutely need your help. Please help so we can continue to care for so many that are currently under our roof. We need to ensure that we can keep this roof and keep them all safe.
Thank you

Please help
THANK YOU all so much for all the support we have received so far!
I know we are always begging for donations, but those donations, whether it be cash funds or supplies, are so incredibly appreciated around here. Running a rescue is NOT cheap, especially with the amount of rescues we have and many are on daily long term medications which also requires many veterinary visits. We are just so so fortunate to have had some of the support we so desperately need in order to keep going and make sure everyone here is happy and healthy.
If things haven’t been hard enough with the latest struggles , the new young kitten Zoey had been febrile for several days, lethargic , not wanting to eat, not moving, literally would sleep all day. We of course had been treating her with fluids and medication , while at the vets office she also got an antibiotic injection. We also sent out some bloodwork. This is all expenses that of course we couldn’t have planned for. In addition she still needs vetted once able, she will need to be spayed, microchipped and vaccines. All this adds up very quickly. We hate to take funds out from what we need to keep the sanctuary kitties safe. Especially since we are still so far from our goal that we haven’t met yet.
If you have even $1 to give we would be so appreciative. We have over 70k followers so if everyone donated $1 we’d be set for a while. Of course that’s not realistic, but we would just appreciate any help at all. If you can’t donate, please share and comment to boost the post. 🐈🐾❤️
