HOORAY!!! 🎉 We’re shouting it the from the rooftops…Hazel has been adopted! 🎉 We’re so very happy for our longest resident, Hazel, who has been waiting in our shelter for ten long months. Congratulations to Hazel and our brothers, Bronson and Elliott, who were also adopted. We’re wishing them all a long, happy life with their new families!

Meet Ramsey! This one year old pup was surrendered to a county shelter because his family was moving out of the country. We don’t think he (or his brothers) were given much attention, but they sure are trying to make up for lost time now! 😂

It’s happening…it’s time for another Puppy Palooza!!

We have LOTS of puppies that will be coming up for adoption in the next month and we’re inviting you to come meet them for a special fundraiser! Here’s how you can join in:

Date: Saturday, February 8th
Time: 11am-12:30pm
(Possible addition of Sunday, February 9th)
Cost: $40 per person
Who: Anyone who loves dogs and is 21 years or older (Sorry, no kids.)

What do you get? 90 minutes of snuggles, tummy rubs, puppy breath, and total joy while playing and holding our adorable (and adoptable) puppies! We will provide snacks and refreshments, as well as some Stealing Hearts merchandise available for sale. The puppies you meet will be coming up for adoption soon so those attending will get a chance to check them all out in person to find the puppy of their dreams. If anyone is interested in adopting, make sure to fill out an application in advance. Whether you’re considering a new puppy or not…all are welcome! The only condition in order to attend this special event is that you must be at least 21 years of age (for insurance reasons).

If you are interested in attending our Puppy Palooza, please text Toni at 602-686-4158 to make a reservation. We have spots for 35 people. Everything will be held outside and if we have more than 35 people interested, then we will hold a second event the next day (Sunday). All the information needed will be given after your spot is secured. And stay tuned to our social media, we will be sharing lots more of the all puppies you’ll be meeting at our event in the coming week. Hope to see you there! ❤️

Handsome Harold cannot wait to find his forever family. This active boy is not a fan of living in a kennel and we can’t really blame him. He loves people and thinks it will be pretty great when he can live in a real home and spend his day with his best friends. He loves to be loved! 💛

Jemma – Bulldog/pit bull mix – 2yrs – Female (64lbs)

Meet our thick little mama, Jemma! This sweetheart was surrendered to a county shelter when she was just about to give birth because her owners “didn’t want another litter of puppies”. Once again, spaying her should have been the perfect solution, but instead she lost her home. We were called and were happy to rescue this sweet girl and take her to safety. She went right to our “mama-foster” where she gave birth to four chubby, healthy puppies. Jemma was a really good mom and took great care of her pups, but now she’s done being a mom – forever! It’s finally her turn to have fun!

Once her puppies were weaned, Jemma moved to our shelter where she makes us laugh every day. She loves to play and plays rough like the tough girl she us. If she’s with another dog and her future home, he will need to be tolerant of her “tough-girl” style. She doesn’t have accidents in her kennel area so we believe she’s housebroken. Jemma adores people of all ages and will push her whole body up against you to say hi. She also loves to go for walks, but does pull in the excitement of the adventure or if she sees a cat. 😹 Jemma is happy, loving, funny, and enjoys every minute of her new life. Rosie is a five year old gal who came to us after her owner passed away and no family member was willing to take her. She deserves so much better! 💔 You can tell that Rosie had a loving home in the past. She’s super sweet, polite, and easy to be around. She has gotten along with a few dogs at our shelter, but she seems to enjoy humans the most. She can be playful and fun, but is fairly mellow and chill. We adore her and know you will too!

Six month old Charlotte is all ready for her forever family! 🩷 This little sweetheart was born into our rescue back in May and waited patiently while each of her siblings was adopted. After waiting so long, we determined that she needed to get out and experience more of the world and now she’s thriving and learning some important skills in a foster home. We’re so proud of her!
