THIS SATURDAY AUGUST 10th, 11a-6:30p we are celebrating our 6th Anniversary as your local pet shop!

We postponed our Anniversary celebration until now, as a gift to ourselves, and our customers we have remodeled our shop and we’d love for everyone to come and see what we have done!

There will be goodie bags, giveaways, and great prices on animals and supplies! Thank you for supporting us for six years we hope to be around for many more!!!

The Sulawesi Black Mangrove Snake is a striking rear-fanged colubrid that loves sporting that bright iridescent shine! They’re happy to perch high in their habitat making for a beautiful display and when it comes to handling they really know how to keep things exciting! Swing by our shop to see the few we have available now!

Don’t sleep on this 🦄 Blue Barons Racer (P. baroni) this rear fanged colubrid from south America is not only eye catching, but make amazing pets or breeding stock. Barons Racers come in different color fazes blue, green and brown. No need for fancy mutations with these beautiful snakes!

Life’s been crazy here at AE. On the plus side our Central location is fully stocked with animals that haven’t been for sale before. We’re open regular hours stop by and take a look!

It saddens us as we have to temporarily shut down operations at our North Valley location for repairs until further notice due to flooding that damaged multiple businesses in our building, including ours.
Our staff is still working hard to care for all of our animals offsite from that location during this time. As a small business we thrive on the support of our local community, and we hope that you will still continue to support us at our other location on 2530 N 7th St #103, Phoenix, AZ 85006 . We will be stocking up our 7th street location heavily with feeders (insects & rodents) and supplies for our customers that will be coming from North Valley area. We will continue to post updates as we get them. Please follow our stories for interactive posts as we still try to serve our community as best we can. Ornate Box Turtles

Loads of captive bred Subadult Ornate Box Turtles (Terrapene ornata ornata) just arrived at AE Herps and Exotics. These guys will be availabe at both of our locations. These are one of the most popular and easy to care for turtle species availabe. They're super personable and perfect for someone that loves turtles but doesn't want to deal with aquatic turtle species. Stop by and pick one up while they're in stock!
