Hey fur-iends! 🐾 September is National Preparedness Month and it’s a great reminder to plan ahead for emergencies and disasters that can strike at any time. 🚨
It’s worth it to plan for your pet’s safety, as well as your own. Things you can do to prepare include:
🦴Packing an emergency kit with essentials such as food, water, medications, waste bags, leashes/harnesses, and a favorite blanket or toy
⚠️Research nearby areas and shelters that accept pets
❗Make sure your pet’s microchips and ID tags have current information
🏥 Include copies of your pet’s medical records and a recent photo of them with your own important documents
🚨Normalize your pet’s carriers and crates, and run through an evacuation plan to minimize stress in a real emergency
We hope you never have to enact your emergency plans, but you’ll have peace of mind knowing you and your pets are prepared! 🐶🐱
We will be closed on Monday, September 2nd in observance of the Labor Day holiday. ☀️ We’ll be back to normal office hours on Tuesday, September 3rd. 🐾🏥
🚨 Emergency Care:
In case of pet emergencies during closure, please contact VEG at 602-671-0331 or Blue Pearl Emergency Hospital at 602-995-3757.
Wishing everyone a woof-derful holiday weekend! 🐱🐶
Hello fabulous fur-iends! 🐾 Do you have extra towels lying around that you no longer use? Animal Care Hospital of Phoenix is in need of gently used towels to help keep our furry patients happy and comfortable during their time with us. 🏥🐶🐱

Happy International Dog Day, ACH fur-iends! 🐶 Today, and everyday, we celebrate our woof-derful, loving, and joyful pups who bring such happiness into our lives. 💞
Our dogs truly make our world a brighter place, whether they’re nuzzling their cold noses against us, begging for their favorite treat, or zooming around to release some extra energy! 🦴🐾
Like this post if you celebrate dog day everyday! 💕 And tag us in a photo of your paw-some pup — we’d love to celebrate the special dogs in your life! 🐕📸
Hello fur-iends! 🐾 Today is International Blind Dog Day and we’re highlighting these special pups who embody trust and resilience! 💕 While they may have lost their sight, these dogs haven't lost their ability to love and bring us joy. ✨
Visual impairment in dogs can be caused by a number of factors, from genetics, injury, old age, or disease. 🩺 Adaptable and determined, dogs can learn to navigate their surroundings using their other senses and with the help of their humans. Sticking to a routine, keeping their environment familiar, leading them with your voice, and finding ways to engage their other senses (squeaky toys!) are all woof-derful ways to support your pup!
Be sure to like this post if you’ve experienced love and companionship with a visually impaired dog. 🐶💞
