🐾💙We had a great visit with the handsome 21-month-old King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, Connor, today for his annual wellness exam and vaccines!💙🐾
Connor was a superstar💫 ❤️for Dr. Rai and our wonderful technician, Andrea. He got a clean bill of health and is all set with his vaccinations to keep him happy and healthy for another year.

EXTREME HEAT ALERT: PROTECT YOUR PETS, PHOENIX!
It's 116°F today, and our Extreme Heat Warning is in effect. This heat is dangerous for pets!

Signs of Pet Heat Stress:
Excessive panting/drooling

Lethargy or weakness

Bright red gums

Vomiting/diarrhea

Collapse/seizures

Keep Them Safe:
🚫 NEVER leave pets in cars.

⏰ Limit outdoor time to early morning/late evening.

🐾 Check pavement – too hot for your hand means too hot for paws!

💧 Always provide fresh, cool water.

🏠 Keep pets indoors with AC.

Emergency Steps:
If you suspect heatstroke: move to a cool area, offer water, gently wet fur, then call Sugarloaf Animal Clinic IMMEDIATELY at (602) 971-2720. Heatstroke is a true emergency!
