As many as 50 million US pets don’t receive necessary veterinary care. Difficulties in obtaining care for our pets can range from financial hardship to transportation/location difficulties, so our goal is to help outfit our partners with grants that can help them take care of the pets in their community. Broley, a 9-year-old bundle of joy, arrived to The Jacksonville Humane Society in October 2023. Despite his endearing nature and love for children, Broley was overlooked due to his age. While recovering from surgery at JHS, a compassionate family eagerly awaited his recovery and brought him home. Now, Broley enjoys his days being spoiled and loved by his new family! 🐶

Sky's the limit when it comes to finding love! Sky, a 1-year-old lab mix, spent 4 months at the Humane Society of Missouri before transitioning to a foster home, where she gained confidence and readiness for adoption. After 210 days at HSMO, Sky was adopted by a loving family! 🌤️

Mara, a sweet French bulldog, visited Seattle Veterinary Outreach El Centro Clinic with her owner, Claudia. The clinic's team, including a Spanish-speaking volunteer, Devon, and Dr. Meghan, diagnosed Mara with a chicken allergy. She left with medication and chicken-free food from El Centro's Pet Food Bank.

This past National Adoption Week, our team members, Christina and Heidi, took Abi & Buddy—who had the longest stays at Miami-Dade Animal Services (over one year each 😯)—on an exciting foster adventure! They enjoyed car rides, dining at a dog-friendly restaurant, and even a cozy slumber party.

Buddy adored his belly rubs and zoomies after his bath, while Abi loved every moment, from dinner outings to riding the elevator. ❤️ Now at FurryFriends Adoption Center in Jupiter, FL, they’re receiving support with training from Dogs Playing for Life and are ready for their loving homes!

Little Sega's cries didn't just echo through the neighborhood; they led to his rescue. 🐈

A PAWS (Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society) staff member, living nearby and off-duty, was told about the kitten and managed to coordinate with neighbors to save him.

Sega was brought back to PAWS, but he didn’t have to wait long to find his loving home. Within just 4 days of being at the rescue, adopters, Dylan and Tanner, decided to make Sega their own.

As we kick-off National Adoption Week, Sega’s story is a perfect reminder of the life-changing impact of adopting. Each rescue is a new beginning, not just for the pets, but for their families too.

Behind the scenes at PETS Clinic: Embry's remarkable recovery! Accessible, affordable veterinary care can truly save lives. 😍

In many remote communities, vet care is out of reach. By partnering with organizations like Canadian Animal Assistance Team, we help pets and their families access the vital services they need, no matter where they're located. ❤️

In September 2023, our team visited the Westlaco Shelter in Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where they met Sandy and fostered her for the night. Little did they know that one night would be the start of an amazing journey to find Sandy her loving home. 🐾 Sandy spent multiple nights bonding with our team and traveling across state lines as they worked to find her a new beginning. Rory, our Senior Manager of Adoption Initiatives, began fostering her, and soon, other team members stepped in to help Sandy on her journey to adoption. Now, Sandy's days are filled with love and family, thanks to the dedication of our team and the kindness of those she met along the way. ❤️
