One Fine Canine Professional Grooming Salon

One Fine Canine Professional Grooming Salon I specialize in Breed Standard Trims and preserving the coats of double coated shedding breeds

If you long to keep your dog's beautiful coat but struggle to maintain it, I can help! I specialize in preserving the natural coats of double coated shedding breeds under 90 lbs. (breeds such as collies, setters, retrievers, spaniels, terriers, borzoi, afghan hounds, Dachshunds, and like coated breeds) I offer services such as light coat stripping, carding and de-shedding for the well behaved fami

ly dog. These services help keep your dog cooler and cleaner, as well as promotes healthy skin and a more natural finish compared to just traditional shaving or cutting of the coat. These methods also decrease shedding significantly and make the coat more manageable at home. I am not taking curly or single coated breeds at this time: (poodles, doodles, yorkies, Shih Tzu, Maltese and like coated breeds)
Due to a neck issue, I am not taking on dogs who are unwilling to stand politely in the tub and on the table for bathing and grooming.

Awe, anyone local want to foster this guy???

UPDATE: Foster home found! Keep your fingers crossed for Winston and the family who will be helping him get a new start!

FOSTER HOME NEEDED!
4 year old Winston, currently located in South Carolina, needs a fox terrier savvy foster home. He is a very sweet and loving boy, but is in need of attention and training. He has never had the opportunity to socialize with other dogs, so his ability to get along with other dogs is currently unknown. We need to further assess him before making him available for adoption. For further information, please text Deborah at (404) 538-0975.

I love a good tidy before and after! It’s the little things! ☺️

Welcome Abby the English Springer to One Fine Canine!
She is an older girl (note the shaking).
We worked on carding the coat - trying to restore some of that glossy, rich top coat this breed is known for. She has always been shaved so we also got started on setting the traditional pattern for this breed.
Miss Abby was such a good girl!

Our Story

Our goal is to provide you and your pup a low-stress + friendly full service Professional Dog Grooming Salon experience. One Fine Canine is located in a quiet home setting and is open by appointment only. We offer personal appointments for each client and over 30 years of experience in grooming, handling and training dogs.

We now specialize in Herding, Terrier and the Sporting type breeds under #60. (Breeds such as: Cavalier King Charles, Japanese Chins, Papillons, Springers, Cocker Spaniels, English Setters, Long and Wire Coated Daschunds, Shelties, Cairn, Schnauzers, Westies, Airedale Terriers...etc. )

We offer services such as “Puppy Intro,” “Full Grooms,” “Tidy Ups,” and “Carding.”

“Carding” and “hand stripping” is perfect for terriers and sporting dogs. Carding and stripping helps minimize shedding, maintain a natural coat texture + richer colors compared to traditional clipping/cutting of the coat.
