Update: my fractures have healed and I can finally begin PT/OT sessions! The bad news is- wrist injuries take longer to heal than other injuries. My PT estimates 2-3 months! 😳
With this knowledge I strongly advise you to have your pups groomed elsewhere until you hear from me. I appreciate your loyalty but your pups will need grooming sooner rather than later.
I appreciate each of you and adore your pups. I look forward to being back to work soon! Thank you for your thoughts and prayers!

I highly recommend this product! Great for dogs with anxiety that need to lick/ chew to comfort themselves-and for youngsters who are bored and need something to do with their mouths/brains. Also a good way to slow feed dogs who eat too fast.

hello friends! While I am on the mend I wanted to offer some tips to help you manage your dog"s coat until I am able to return to work.
My first tip is for those of you with long, double coated breeds like Collies, Aussies, and Cockers with coats longer than a half an inch.

I encourage you to be using a Long Toothed Slicker brush and a Conditioning coat Spray. ( i have attached links to some options)
Spritz the coat before brushing. A Long Toothed Slicker brush can reach deeper into the coat than traditional brushes, maximizing detangling and under coat removal. The conditioning Spray will help prevent future tangles and damage to the coat. This particular spray will also be good as a detangler. Just spray soak the tangled area then begin gently brushing.
Bathing in a quality conditioning shampoo regularly will also help significantly. So satisfying seeing that top coat shine after a good coat carding. Carding removes the fuzzy lighter colored undercoat that a lot of times covers up that glossy top coat. Proper carding can do wonders for your dog and control shedding at home.

🎃 Cute as a pumpkin! 🎃 Miss Belle has quite a story to tell. As a pup she wandered into the yard of her now family. She was most likely a puppy mill escapee. But now she is safe and happy and loved.

This Saturday my son is volunteering with Samaritan’s Purse in Asheville NC. On the way there he is dropping supplies off at a local community church.
