Greetings Picture Rocks, Avra Valley, and Marana!!!

We are expanding!!

Thanks to all the love and support since opening our small animal clinic in 2019, we are very excited to let you know that Avra Veterinary Clinic has brought a new veterinarian into our family. We couldn’t be more proud and grateful to have local, home grown Picture Rocks veterinarian Dr. Scarlett Gallagher on staff full time. She brings a wealth of knowledge, compassion, and community feel to Avra Veterinary.

With 2 full-time veterinarians, we are able to offer veterinary services Monday-Friday, same day appointments when possible, daytime emergency services, and as always, equine veterinary services.

Avra vet clinic will be closed this Friday the 18th due to storm damage and no power

Power service is out in the area and we may not have power by morning. Additionally, the clinic has had significant rain and storm damage, therefore we will be closed this Friday the 18th.

It has been brought to our attention that there is some concern in the community regarding Avra Veterinary Clinic’s future.

Avra Veterinary Clinic is NOT closing.

We plan on serving our community for years to come.

However, we are a small, family owned, one doctor veterinary practice that has been inundated with new clients at an exponential rate. Due to a large influx of new clientele and staffing shortages, it is necessary to make changes to our hours and services offered. Our ability to see both small and large animal emergencies and outcalls will be extremely limited until further notice.

Starting November 1st through the first week of January 2023, our office hours will also be limited in order to reorganize so that we can better serve our existing and new clientele in the future.

After January, we will resume our regular Monday – Friday hours.



We thank our community for your support and understanding while catch our breath and plan for the future care of the pets in Avra Valley!

The clinic will be closed from July 26 - July 30. Our vet will be working on a ranch out of state during this time. We will still monitor calls and schedule future appointments. Please make arrangements for medications and routine appointments to be filled and completed before this time.
