How feeding 52 meat birds (Freedom Rangers) looks like in the morning in our modified brooder tower.
We have been loving the ability to grow our own food. Excited to try these compared to the Cornish X!

I find pig stewardship very relaxing. Our first visit of the day is always my favourite with them being the last stop of my animals chores. It’s very rewarding to see them happy. On hot summer days they love their pools after downing their kitchen scraps. The two large ones in the front were our first meat pigs. The smaller one’s in the back being our breeders(the small one the girl). Today, I tried feeding them a couple jars of peanut butter hoping for a Mister Ed situation, didn’t happen. But they sure love when I put a watermelon or cantelope in the freezer for a bit before feeding it to them as cool afternoon treat. ❤️ 🐖
Our Gray male Sebastopol showing off. ❤️
Our 2023 Welsh Harlequin breeders looking beautiful this morning.
We added in more beautiful show quality bloodlines from reputable award winning breeders.
Adding in strong genetics should be a must for any backyard flock or farmer. It guarantees your bird will have the best health compared to discount feed bin ducks. And obviously they will be gorgeous!
We love quality and we love beautiful happy healthy ducks! 🙂 ❤️
In September we will have a yearly downsize where we faze out last years breeders, If your looking for quality adult ducks then that will be your time. Message us to reserve!

We are a week and half away from our big Welsh Harlequin hatch! April 8th and 12th.
You work with what you got!
A past duckling brooder made out of a old kiddie pool.
Seperating food and water will lessen your mess when brooding ducklings. These are a few days old and only given a small watersource at first. The brooder offers a heated spot of 90f and a cool down spot. A makeshift painters roller tray and plastic tub allows to catch water and not spoil your bedding.
A probiotic treat for the chooks!
Suprise nest!!
Meaning we will have a possible 40+ ducklings between her and the incubator eggs.
If you missed your chance this summer prepare for some ducklings at the end of the month. This will be our last big hatch as we wind down the breeding season.
Only 14 Purebred Welsh Harlequins left
3 Mixes (Cayuga x Mallard)
Pictures of parents on our page!
