Bean is a very special piggy to me (Krysta). She came to us only days old and I really bonded to her. We didn’t think she was going to make it but she pulled through. She would go with us everywhere we went and made the best traveling companion. Bean was in a rollover car accident with us and ended up in my glove box which saved her life. Since then her desire to ride in cars is gone. She was not hurt not even a scratch. Thank God! Anyway Bean is in need of a monthly sponsor. Blossom is our sweet hospice piggy. She has cancer and is needing a couple of sponsors. She came to us when her human mommy was put on hospice. She had spoiled pig syndrome when she arrived and would not let anyone near her. With time and patience Blossom is now on of the rescue visitor favorites. Want a piggy but can’t have one? Want to make a difference in a piggies life? Want to help a rescue but don’t know how? Please take a look on Chris P’s Rescue and Rehabilitation Inc. who is in desperate need for several sponsors for their animals. They can’t continue to do what they do without sponsor like you. They have a list of animals needing sponsors on their time line and are still adding more over the next week. Please help! If everyone would give up one or two fancy coffees a month, that’s enough to pay for a piggies feed for a month. If you are interested please reach out to them or myself.

It’s easy to set up. 🐽 You choose the animal you’d like to sponsor and the amount you’d like to sponsors each month and we will send you a link to sign up. 🐷 We currently only have 12 active sponsors. We have almost 100 animals. 😢 We are in need of help. Many commit and then drop off after one month. We understand times can get rough as they are certainly rough here right now. Until we get sponsors we will not be able to take in anymore animals at this time. 😩 We don’t want to get over our heads financially but we simply cannot help anymore without help. We will be doing some fundraising as well but sponsorships really help with their monthly feed costs and medical. Meet Polka Dot aka Dottie. She came to us last month with her sister. She came from a very loving home. Their family had some serious life changes and they needed a loving place to now call home. Sarge has a sad story. Sarge was dumped into a field where he has to try to survive on his own. Only to be attacked several times by dogs. He came to us pretty badly beaten up. Scars tell his story with torn up shredded ears and scars on his body. He is all healed up, lost some weight and is now a social butterfly here in our sanctuary. He will never have to worry about being attacked again or be left to fin for himself. Sarge is in need of a sponsor. Will that be you? Dexter is our fun loving little guy. Fully grown he’s only 50 pounds. He was born with many birth defects. Such as his back legs are severely deformed. It does not stop him one bit. Meet Marge. She came to us from another rescue. Marge was viciously attached by dogs and as a result she has no ears. She is gorgeous just the way she is She was so timid and overweight when she came to us. She is now a social butterfly with all her piggy friends and has lost the weight she needed to lose. So this just happened. 💕 We had taken in this beautiful momma not knowing she was pregnant. I was real suspicious on Saturday when she was laying while eating hay. We moved momma and babies into the barn and they are bonding. They are just precious.

Meet Gus and his best friend Maggie the chicken. Gus came to us last summer from a shelter in Wyoming. Gus is a big boy and currently on a diet to lose his extra weight. He is blind due to being overweight. The fat around his eyes keep him from seeing. Hopefully weight loss will help. Maggie fell in love at first sight and is always by Gus’ side. 🎂We want to wish our sweet porch piggy, Waffles, a very happy 3rd birthday! 🎂 She got her favorite muffins and a donut. Special days require special treats. Waffles was born without shoulder blades making it tougher to get around than the others. She’s in no pain at all. Her condition does not stop her.
