Super excited about the Saturday market that lies ahead! The lot will be filled with vendors ready to stock you up on all the local products you want!! Cucumber season is finally here, as well as loads of other summer veggies, including TOMATOES! Be sure to stock up on pickling cucumbers while they last! We will also have beef, pork, honey, handmade books and personal care items, treats for your furry friends, and handmade specialty items available at market!

PLEASE SHARE TO SAVE A LIFE.

Please remember it will be 100 degrees today. I know your home may feel nice and cool this morning, but by 12pm it will not be. So Please turn on your air conditioner and fans for your pets inside.

To help keep pets cool when it's hot, please make sure they have plenty of water. For large do, s a 5 gal bucket works gre. A a kiddie swimming pool is awesome for the pets outside even if they only putheirre feet in it. You can also place a large heavy blanket inside a kiddie pool and soak it down with water to keep the pet cool to lay on it. This way if they don't like to be in water they have a nice cool blanket to lay on.

Make sure they have Plenty of shade. Remember the sun moves so where there is shade one hour there could be zero shade when the sun is directly over head of us. DOG HOUSES ARE NOT SHELTER OR SHADE FOR DOGS. WHEN HOT IT IS A OVEN BOX!!!!!!!

Rabbits do not do good in this heat. Please bring them inside where it's cooler. You can also get a litter pan and place a towel inside and wet that down for them to lay on it to keep them cool. Also, freezing a 2 litter bottle with water in it and placing a pillow case over it for the rabbit to lay against with help keep the rabbit cool. Or you can build a house on the ground out of cinder and put dirt around the side to the tip like a storm shelter, that will keep them cool too.

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR PETS AT HOME AND DO NOT TAKE OR LEAVE THEM IN THE CAR!!!!!

DO NOT WALK YOUR PET ON THE ASPHALT DURNING THE DAY PUT YOUR HAND DOWN AND LEAVE IT THERE FOR 10 LONG SECONDS TO MAKE SURE ITS SAFE FOR YOUR PET TO WALK ON.

No exercising your pet when hot. Please do it in the early morning or late evening.

Stay safe and cool for you and your pets.
