It was a weekend of championships- the day before the Superbowl, Dr. Heiken, Val & Fish competed in the championship of champions at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in NYC!

Fish earned her 4th Masters Agility Championship (MACH)- her second year in a row of getting a championship at Westminster!

Valkyrie took 4th in the jumpers round! Both dogs had perfect runs in all rounds.

Fish and Dr. Heiken’s last run in round 4 of the AKC Agility Invitational landed them in 32nd place out of 165 dogs in their height class, and one of only 50 teams of the height to run every round without a fault. Only the top 6 of each breed over a 12 month qualifying period are invited, so we’re very proud of team Swedish Fish!!! She won the breed medallion for Swedish Vallhunds, meaning she was the highest scoring of her breed! We appreciate your patience and support while the team traveled to Orlando for the event. Fish will take tomorrow off, but Dr. H is back in the office!

Dr. Heiken is heading to Massachusetts for an agility competition with her canine teammates Val, Fish & Zu this week. We will have no vet appointments on Thursday. We have appointments available with the awesome Dr. Gerow on Friday! Wish Team Viking luck and let us know if you need us!!!!
