Training tip of the day-

To aid in crate training, feed your puppy in its crate.

This helps them to like the crate, it helps them to not want to go to the bathroom in there, this prevents ever having any issues with a dog fight over food in a multiple dog household, this prevents any bite risk associated with a food bowl and children.

Remember- you are passively training even when you don’t think you are.

Rawhides are dangerous. Some great alternatives are; bully sticks, cow hooves, chicken feet, and benebone. The cocker pups from this litter love bully sticks.

The puppies had a busy day yesterday! They started the day with a bath and groom, then had a trip to the vet for their health check, microchips, deworming, and first vaccines. Everyone got a clean bill of health and did very good for the long car ride. I want to thank Dr.Dawson and the techs at Pierz Veterinary Clinic for taking such good care of us!

*The puppies need a booster vaccine in 3-4 weeks. I posted about this previously.
