We have a soft spot for the pregnant mares, drafts and seniors dumped at these kill pens that were bound for slaughter in mexico.

So 19 yrs ago I rescued this girl when she was 1. She has developed cushings.. refuses to take her meds. this winter she turned into a wolly mammoth...thanks to your friend danae Boyd and some sedation from auburn equine we got her all clipped up..such a pretty girl...young 20 yr old Miss Cookie Crisp

Our rescue Max has made such a good recovery and now a bossy gelding and has started riding assessment and training..such a great man

..we have 11 extra animals we are feeding due to the fire any food donations are greatly appreciated... to help feed the 4 horses ,5 donkeys and 2 goats displaced for now due to the fire.
