Some days are the hard days. Today was one of them. As they get older we all know the day is coming and we never want it to be today.
Sadly today we lost on of the good ones.
Boonlight N Diamonds left this world today well loved by so many and missed by even more.

He was the highest money earning son of Like A Diamond. He showed to great success with Devin Warren and packed many non pros. He was most loved though by his final momma Christi-Lyn Anderson
and will be missed by many more.

ETA- These are prices from the York Co. Pa area. And the price per gallon of diesel listed is for bulk off road usage. It is not the price for ‘on road’ usage ( which is much higher)

From one of my hay suppliers. I think keeping things transparent between the supplier and consumer is paramount.

Are you as a boarder at a facility prepared for possible board increases? Are you as a boarder understanding in that the barn owner/ manager cannot absorb the increases handed to them to keep your horse fed?

I feel that these are real questions that boarders and barn owner/ manager need to have.

We are very happy to report some good news! Penelope and her new nurse mare Momma Scarlet are home, bonded, and doing great. We want to thank every one who reached out with condolences, advice, and resources. It takes a village and this week our village came together to help this sweet baby out. Once this rain clears out next week we will make sure to get some professional baby shots and will start posting them for everyone to enjoy ❤️

Yesterday was one of the most exciting, and most heart breaking days out at the ranch.
Our head broodmare Be My Dun It “Brownie” foaled a gorgeous Gunnatrashya filly for us, but sadly last night she had a uterine arterial bleed and passed away. We are currently in the process of getting a nurse mare for her foal and until then filly is on milk replacer and doing well, but we wanted to pay tribute to her mother.

If you’ve ever ridden a Brownie baby you know just how special she was and just how special her foals are. We were fortunate enough to purchase Brownie in 2016 and have 3 foals from her. Brownie wasn’t just a herd member here, she was family, and well loved by all. We are absolutely heart broken by her passing but will cherish her foals and all of the good memories we had with her. Rest easy sweet girl and thank you for this perfect filly, we will do everything we can for her to give her the best care.
