Thank you to Mrs. Claus for visiting us at the dog park Saturday. Our dogs got biscuits and the adults and children got hot chocolate and candy canes.

Hello Dog Park Friends-- Please join us as we welcome once again Paul Keller and his Ensemble for a joyous, jazzy Christmas concert. New this year: an Arise Kids Jazzy Christmas Party. Parents can enjoy the concert while their children fifth grade and under are entertained with a movie, treats and crafts.

Here's a bit of holiday fun for you, your children and the family dog. Mrs. Claus will be at the Arise United Methodist Church dog park from noon to 1 p.m. Saturday. The church is at 11211 Dexter-Pinckney Road.

Look, Dude is checking out our new p**p sled, and bucket stickers. The stickers remind volunteers to empty the buckets when half full so they won't be too heavy to lift.

Good News,
Bob donated a snow sled to assist us in emptying the p**p buckets this winter. We will still need to use the wheel barrow to take the bags to the dumpster.
Also, note the new red stickers on all our p**p bucket's top and sides that ask us to empty when 1/2 full.

More good news, our pre-ordered Dog Park hoodies should be delivered within a week. I'll let everyone know when they are here.
Last call for your Dog's Christmas ornament. See order sheet is in the gazebo.
Please continue to remind all new folks to register their dogs and get their Rabies certificate on file. The state requires this of us.

The Arise Dog Park was included in an article in RNS (Religious News Service) titled "Got an empty church lawn? Why not turn it into a dog park?" An RNS reporter interviewed Sue Kazusky, the dog park coordinator, along with Pastor Jonathan Vitale and Mary Ellen Mohn, communications coordinator.

THE COUNTDOWN IS ON!!

Come start your Christmas season off at the Nature Center! In just TWO short weeks our annual Christmas Tree Sale Begins. Open from 10 AM to 5 PM daily.

Trees of various heights and wreaths will fill the Nature Center's courtyard for your family to come and pick out the perfect Christmas Tree. Then come into the Welcome Center to warm up with Hot Coco and do some shopping for those on your list that love nature!
