During the colder months of the year when flower season isn’t as hectic, I love baking bread. Sourdough, biscuits, sandwich bread, all the carbs lol. During the summer, it’s too hot to turn the oven on for that long, and I am too busy to bake a lot, so I consider baking a seasonal hobby lol. And just like that, the flower season begins 🌸🌸🌸. Lisianthus are ridiculously slow growers. These little babies will take 9-10 weeks just to establish their second set of leaves 😱😱😱 but they sure are beautiful! I can’t wait to see these beauties in a short 7ish months πŸ˜†

Planting 30 new baby peonies to add to our peony section! I’m so thankful we have had a very mild fall. Planting in 55 degrees and sunshine is glorious! These babies won’t bloom for another couple years, but the 55 we planted our first year should bloom next season!!!

We took advantage of the sunshine this weekend and got a lot of clean up, prep, and fall planting done! With some helpers, I planted over 1100 tulip bulbs, laid fabric to add more space to our growing area, and started digging dahlia tubers!
