During the colder months of the year when flower season isn’t as hectic, I love baking bread. Sourdough, biscuits, sandwich bread, all the carbs lol. During the summer, it’s too hot to turn the oven on for that long, and I am too busy to bake a lot, so I consider baking a seasonal hobby lol. What are your favorite hobbies, or if you’re like me, seasonal hobbies?

And just like that, the flower season begins 🌸🌸🌸. Lisianthus are ridiculously slow growers. These little babies will take 9-10 weeks just to establish their second set of leaves 😱😱😱 but they sure are beautiful! I can’t wait to see these beauties in a short 7ish months 😆

Planting 30 new baby peonies to add to our peony section! I’m so thankful we have had a very mild fall. Planting in 55 degrees and sunshine is glorious! These babies won’t bloom for another couple years, but the 55 we planted our first year should bloom next season!!!

We are about half way through our dahlia digging! I’m reminding myself how gorgeous these flowers are when they’re blooming because they sure are a pain to dig, and split, and store each year!

We took advantage of the sunshine this weekend and got a lot of clean up, prep, and fall planting done! With some helpers, I planted over 1100 tulip bulbs, laid fabric to add more space to our growing area, and started digging dahlia tubers!

The flower stand is open and stocked with beautiful bouquets! We will be open Saturday and Sunday. Grab a coffee and go for a little drive to treat yourself or someone you love to flowers 💐💐💐 We are located at 15778 Dream Catcher, Pinckney. Mason jar bouquets are $20 (cash and Venmo accepted). Our healing salve, which is great for cuts, scrapes, bug bites, dry skin, basically everything skin related lol, is $15. I will keep the stand open until 2 unless we sell out before. Be sure to check here - I’ll post if we sell out. There are cards and picks to go in the flowers if you are giving the flowers as gifts. Please help yourself 😊
