UPDATE: Copper’s owner has been in contact with us! He will be going home today!

📢 Help Us Find Copper’s Owner!

This morning, Copper, a sweet dog, was brought to us by the State Police. He was found in Auburn at 43 Whitetail Dr. Copper is microchipped but not neutered. According to his microchip, his owner’s name is Steven Heatter.

If you know Steven or have any information that could help reunite Copper with his family, please contact us as soon as possible.

Meet Arwen! She is 7 months old, up to date on her vaccines, and spayed. She is a little bigger now than when her picture was taken, but she's still small and definitely adorable! Arwen is super friendly and social, getting along with other cats and warming up to dogs slowly! Someone come get this gorgeous gal! She is 5 years old, up to date on her vaccines, and spayed. She doesn't really like other animals, but she makes up for it with her beautiful looks and sweet personality! She can be vocal when she wants something, but usually just enjoys laying in sunny spots around the building. Nina is a little over a year old, up to date on her vaccines, and spayed. She is the last of her litter to find a home! She has a unique and raspy meow, she's great with other cats, a little skittish of dogs, and is super playful! She rolls over for attention, and she's a little chubby but it's cute! This goofy boy is still here! Leon is almost 2 years old, up to date on his vaccines, and neutered. He has a lot of energy, running around all day, leaping onto our counters, and trying to play with all of our other cats. He is great with other cats as long as they can keep up his energy, but he doesn't like dogs. He is super playful and carries his toys around with him! A Huge Thank You to Jax Ruddy and Boy Scout Troop 600!

We are beyond grateful to Jax Ruddy from Llewellyn, PA, and Boy Scout Troop 600 for their incredible support and generosity! As part of his Eagle Scout Service Project, Jax and his troop made a lasting impact on Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA.

Here’s what they accomplished:
🐾 Deployed donation bins around the community to collect much-needed pet supplies.
🐾 Completed various maintenance projects around our shelter, helping to improve the space for our animals.
🐾 Raised $600 to support our shelter’s operating expenses!

Jax, your leadership and dedication are truly inspiring. We are so thankful for your hard work and the efforts of Troop 600. You’ve helped make a real difference in the lives of our animals, and we appreciate you more than words can say!

On December 7th, come together with us and Sweet G’s at the Pine Grove Christmas Stroll for a day of giving back. Sweet G’s will host a charitable event for Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, offering a custom drink, the “Rescue”, with all proceeds going to the cause. 💚Rizzo💚
We have had Rizzo since he was three months old. That was a little over 2 years ago! He is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. Rizzo can be a very vocal cat when he wants attention, food, to play, or even just to hear his own voice. He is good with other cats, but he doesn't like dogs. He is a little overweight, being around 18 solid pounds, but he still has a lot of playful energy! Schedule an appointment to meet him throughout the week, or stop by on the weekends between the hours of 10-3!!!
