Haven’t made a post in a while so I figured I would give an update on the kennels. We finally have a shelter up and kennels in place. Still have a few things left to do like power for lights and fans for the summer time and a few more kennels to put in.

A little progress today. Seems like it has been forever but when you are working with several different contractors it takes time. We definitely recommend Matt Cox with Cox hauling. He has done the footing and now back filling and has been very easy to work with. Now time to schedule the concrete guy so we can get this thing finished.

One of these pups will be making her way from Kentucky to us in about 7 weeks and to say I(John) am excited is an understatement. I have searched long and hard to find this blood line. My close friends that knew my rooster dog will understand why I am excited. We are bringing some Carolina Smoke on the water blood lines back to Brogden.

May look confusing at this point but when it’s all done it will work as planned. We have spent many hours talking and drawing up ideas on this build. We even took an idea from the trainer on something he recommended. Hopefully next week the back fill will begin and then concrete.
