Weeks have past since the Lönssuche event which was held at Des Plaines Wildlife Area outside Wilmington Illinois. It was a great event, more than I expected. A huge congratulations to all the KlM-GNA dogs that participated in the Breed Show and HZP. A couple von den Windriver-Bergen A litter puppies did awesome...Congratulations to Chris Marsh and Mike Scott. Their dogs scored 4th and 5th out of 19 dogs. It was great to meet so many of the German handlers, breeders, and judges (performance and conformation judges)!

Mission accomplished on first day in ND...Barra pointed wild birds and I got a limit on pheasant.

Barra (Barramundi von den Windriver-Bergen) was amazing on his points..multiple pheasants and a covey of huns. He was solid. My shooting, not so much on the huns. Attached are some photos of his points on chukar at Des Plaines Wildlife Area. Proud of the little man. And Lota (Foxi vom Gusseisen) was excellent yesterday in ND also.

The little man Barra (Barramundi v.d. Windriver-Bergen Kleine Munsterlander) retrieving duck and pheasant after completing a short drag. He likes the water but hasn't taken the plunge for a swim in the cold Pinedale water yet. 🤣 He has a great memory, great nose, and willingness to track. He his very social with people and other dogs. His search is pretty thorough for a little man of 14.5 weeks old. Still working on the pointing but he will get there. He is a great little guy. The 2nd to last puppy (Betta) went home on March 30th. The little man Barra is hanging out in Wyoming waiting for the perfect hunting home. He is calm, social, confident, bold, and was an excellent traveler from Wyoming to Missouri this past week. While in Missouri, he went for his first swim, short but he swam. He has been sleeping the entire night in his crate since his buddy Betta went home to Oregon. This week we are back in Wyoming and plan to start working him more on birds, tracks, and basic commands.😁🥰

Day 30...Eating mush, sleeping, wrestling, and having short adventures outside in the Pinedale February weather!! As it warms up, their adventures will be longer and they will be able to cover more ground. One male is still available to someone that is interested in qualifying him as a stud dog.
