Our Sunrise collar is one of the original collars we designed when we first started Outback Hound back in 2018.
Over the years this collar has been sold to customers all around the world and is still a bestseller today. Inspired by the colorful sunrises seen at altitude over mountain tops ⛰️.

Happy 1st birthday to our own meatball, Remi 🎂🥹
He had to rock the classic plaid collar on his special day, obv. 😆🎉🐕
He’s the sweetest, goofiest ridgeback we’ve ever had and we love him to bits!
His celebrations included zoomies in the front yard, chowing down on some Bday cookies (special thanks for for the goods) and ripping the squeakers from all his new toys 💸💸💸

Education Friday: Choosing the Perfect Collar 🐾

Not all collars are created equal! Here’s what to keep in mind when picking the right one for your pup:

1️⃣ Material Matters: Look for collars made from durable, breathable materials like nylon, polyester webbing or leather. Comfort is key, especially for long adventures.

2️⃣ Fit is Everything: A proper fit keeps your dog safe. You should be able to slip two fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck—tight enough for security, loose enough for comfort.

3️⃣ Know the Purpose: Everyday collars are great for tags and daily wear, but if you’re hitting the trails, opt for something designed for rugged adventures. Bonus points if it has a handle for quick control!
