Selling cserpents 24" incubator with the VE thermostat , retails for $600 new just over a year old it's dusty and a little dirty from storage but everything works the heat, the circulation fan the light for viewing , was plugged in running just never used it as I was planning to expand but what I have now seems to work for me so my loss your gain im asking $400 for it with the thermostat and $350 without the thermostat, pick-up only located in pinellas County, pm with any questions

Very exciting news we have our second pancake baby of the season thats two for this year so far , this is our first year producing babies and our fifth year working overall with pancake tortoises,we are beyond excited for this and can't wait to see what the future holds.

Check this out everyone, on Monday we hatched our very first pancake tortoise ever , this baby comes from a new bloodline that was imported on the very last shipment of pancakes as they are now listed citiesII. This is a very good start to diversity in bloodlines in captivity to keep the speices going , without captive breeding this animal would surely be extinct in the wild in a short 10-20 years in my opinion. This is a life long goal I've accomplished for my self , I rember seeing these animals for the very first time about 20 years ago and thinking to my self that's what I want to breed and work with along the way life goes on things happen and plans change , but this plan has always been on my mind so when the opportunity showed its self four years ago I went for it. I purchased my very first pair as I was also aware these animals would be listed citiesII and that this would more than likely be my last opportunity at getting to work with them and a brand new blood line at that. With all that being said im very fortunate to be able to do what I do and work with such amazing animals its not always easy working a 40+ hr week job and then coming straight home to tend to everyone its exhausting but little moments like this make it worth the world for me.

Please take a few minutes out of your day to watch this , this is very important for the future of Florida ecosystem, these animals are in a rapid decline directly due to investors and corporations leveling hundreds to thousands of acres for land development we do not need any more condo, apartments, town houses etc built here. The gopher tortoise is a keystone species in Florida and many other animals depend on them for survival without your support and efforts the only way future generations will enjoy these animals is in a text book like so many before it. 😥

First yellowfoots of the 2024 season are hatching, looks like it should be a very good year for us this year. All of our incubators are at almost full capacity between the yellowfoots ( Guyana and Suriname local) and the pancakes we are hoping for a very exciting year.
