It’s common for pet parents to accidentally miss a dose of their fur baby’s prevention, so no need to panic. If it has been less than 30 days since the missed dose, give it to your dog immediately. If it has been more than 30 days, reach out to us and let us know. We are going to have you give the prevention and then test your dog for heartworms in 6 months and then again in another 6 months. Then back to your annual testing schedule. Remember, the minimal cost of preventatives is well worth saving you and your dog the suffering and cost of treating the full-blown disease.

When the doctor walked in, most dogs were barking, begging for treats, or curling up under the table. Not Remi. Nope. Remi was already lounging on the table like a seasoned pro, ready for action. The doctor and technician couldn’t help but laugh—talk about being too laid-back for a check-up! Happy Friday, everyone!😎

January is National Train Your Dog Month, a great reminder of the importance of training for both dogs and their owners. Effective dog training helps strengthen the bond between pets and their families while promoting good behavior and reducing the risk of behavior issues. Training sessions should be consistent, positive, and reward-based, focusing on basic commands like sit, stay, and come, as well as addressing specific behavioral concerns. Whether you're working with a puppy or an older dog, training provides mental stimulation, improves communication, and ensures a well-behaved, happy pet. 🐾❤
