Hello everyone - this is Bart - he was my moms cat and I adopted him after she died last January. He loved my mom and no one else could go near him - now Im his special buddy - and he is mine! He likes me and no one else. He is a one man band! He also is polydactyl (has an extra thumb on each front paw). He has adapted so well - Im really proud of him and am very honored on how he loves me! He is a big beautiful all black cat.

Our 17 year old kitty named Brett crossed over the rainbow 🌈 bridge this morning. We found out he had kidney disease and he was not doing well. 💔My Mom passed away last Friday at age 87 after a brief illness, so finding some comfort in thinking they are together.💔

Don’t worry too much; once they’re hungry enough, they’ll come out to eat

I have been feeding two cats for months, the temperature is dipping below zero, so last night I closed the door behind them. They have been hiding for about 20 hours. The forecast for the next several days is sub zero. How long before they just have to eat something? I have food available, but they won't come out. This is Mr. Bibbs inside this house while the door was open. That is not practical in this weather. Any advice? I have cats that live here, and there is a hostile female, but she is not new on the scene. Could it just be that their exit is not open?
Advice and suggestions are appreciated.
And yes, they were TNR. Vetted and vaccinated.

I can't get over how precious my rescue babies are! From left to right we have Wendalynn St. James (abandoned at 3 weeks old at my wife's vet clinic stunted from malnutrition 1 1/2) Staniel Lee (abandoned in a box on the street at 2 weeks with his brother kyle 1 ¹/2) Bagherra (abandoned at 2 weeks outside the vet clinic 10 months) and Kyle Lorenzo (Staniels brother). Obviously I failed and kept these guys out of my 10 fosters last year but look at them! How could I say no!
