Please be patient with our staff. We may be a little short handed in the early morning hours as those who live farther from the hospital take extra precaution to make sure they can arrive safely.

Our New Year Glow Up came early…
New Year, New Us, New Hours! ✨

As an animal hospital invested in serving our community, we are always looking for ways to improve the client/patient experience. In an effort to enhance what you already know and love about us, we are adding new appointment times in 2025.

Whether you wake up with a sick fur baby first thing in the morning, need to squeeze in an appointment on your lunch break, or want to come by for a visit after work, we’ve got you covered.

Starting next week, we will be open Monday-Thursday 7:00am-7:00pm and on Fridays from 7:00am-5:00pm. We will have veterinarians available for appointments ALL DAY with the last appointment at 6:20pm Monday-Thursday and 4:20pm on Fridays. Early morning, lunch time, and late evening appointments are limited each day. We recommend booking in advance. We also have a veterinarian available to see walk ins from 7:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday. Walk ins are seen in order of emergent need. Pets can also be dropped off for services/overnight stays anytime before 6:00pm and must be picked up no later than 7:00pm Monday-Thursday. On Fridays, drop off/pick up must be before 5:00pm. In celebration of the new year and new hours, stop by the hospital Thursday, January 9th from 5pm-7pm for an exclusive behind the scenes tour. Our Story

Montgomery Animal Hospital is a progressive veterinary hospital serving all of your small animal needs. Our business hours are from 7am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday with 24 hour emergency services available. We always welcome new clients and patients. We see patients by appointment, but walk-ins are always welcome. In order to provide the best quality care for your pets we offer in-house laboratory profiles, digital radiology, ultrasound and surgical services, in addition to preventative medicine. We have indoor climate controlled boarding facilities for small animals. Thank you for considering Montgomery Animal Hospital for all of your veterinary needs. We look forward to serving you in the future.

***In an effort to protect you, your pet, and our staff we want to remind our clients of an important policy at our hospital. Rabies vaccinations are required by law for all dogs in the state of Louisiana. Our hospital policy requires all patients receiving services to have a current rabies vaccine. Furthermore, if your pet is receiving elective services, there are additional vaccination requirements. Our hospital policy requires all patients boarding, receiving a bath or a shavedown be fully vaccinated. We appreciating your understanding and cooperation in this effort.
