A great start was made on the garage today. It was a team effort. Special thanks go to Gabe Thomson, Clark Castillo, Russell Owings, Bernie Davis, Larry Oder and Mike and Faith Nixon. With their efforts lumber is coming off the trailer and standing. The sun was out for a time today, no rain, no injuries and no lawnmower words. A great day

A number of you have asked if we have if we have recovered from the fire. It’s been a long process. I am pleased to say that PriestView’s Braeburn is doing very well. We had a great hunt today even though it got hot. I am grateful for all of the outpouring of concern and prayers as we have moved forward. Next Saturday 9/28 we will make the next big step and raise the garage. Many have said they would be glad to help. I know that everyone is busy. If you want to bring a hammer, saw or just stop by to give moral support please come by to 2105 Pharsalia Road and join in the fun. Please let me know if you’re planning to come so we can have sufficient drinks/food. Thank everyone for all of the prayers that have been lifted up for us.

Happy Thanksgiving to all friends of PriestView

During this time for being thankful I need to make all aware of a tragedy that befell us Sunday night/Monday morning when at midnight I woke up to find a strange light outside. I discovered that the source of the light was our detached garage which contained the kennels was fully engulfed in a structure fire. It was a total loss, including PriestView's Britts. So with today what can I be thankful for?

I am thankful that both LaVerne and I are safe and well. Our home was saved with the fire being stopped at the outside walls. I am thankful for all of the pouring of concern and prayers lifted on our behalf. I am thankful for my family and friends who have responded with such support.

I am thankful for the great memories that have been generated by wonderful hunts and time spent with these three. PriestView's Shem Mountain Boy, PriestView's Jonna Gold and PriestView's Virginia Gold. All of the time spent in Gods wonderful beauty at PriestView. I am thankful for the PriestView Team. I am thankful for all of the friendships that have been created at PriestView.

This has been a difficult week, however I know that the Lord is in control and all works are for his purpose. I appreciate all that the Lord has given.

PriestView has a litter of 11 beautiful pups. Seven girls and four boys born December 15th. The sire is PriestView Shem Mountain Boy. The dam is PriestView Jonagold. Both sire and dam are great bird dogs, great noses, biddable and look good while doing it. If you are looking for your next hunting partner please consider a PriestView pup. They are AKC registered, have tails and dewclaws taken care of, will have shots and worming. Also one would make a great Valentines gift.
