Getting ready for this cold spell so brought Abby and her babies inside. So sweet. I put the babies in the clothes basket and Abby jumped right in. Let’s go, Mom!

Our sweet Denver crossed over the rainbow bridge and I posted some pics. How amazing is this that someone recognized a puppy? Hello Teeko!! We are more than thrilled he is living a blessed life!

Today is a sad day.
Denver - our heart, the patriarch of the start of Dry Creek Mini Aussies - traveled over the rainbow bridge. He was dad to so many of our beautiful babies. He retired 3 years ago and had the run of the ranch until he went blind and deaf, and developed dementia. So, eventually he was outside our bedroom and only in the side yard so we knew where he was. He spent his last months just walking and walking and walking. He loved really cold water and preferred T-bones to filets - because of the bones of course. Raw food was definitely his choice and one day he said let’s try hotdogs. So I’d slice up the beef hotdogs from Sam’s and fed him by hand a few times a day as I worried he might not find his food.
Let’s just say there were tears on the ranch today. Like I said - a sad day.
