Did you know, the color of your child's swimsuit can make a significant difference in what you can clearly see under the water?

Neon colors, especially neon orange, are the most visible under water โ€“ either in a pool or open water like Lake Kampeska. Think bright & contrasting โ€“ wear a color that contrasts the most with either the bottom of the pool, lake, river, or ocean.

As helpful as a neon swimsuit may be, adult supervision continues to be the most effective way to keep children safe in the water - remember to designate one responsible adult to watch swimmers at a time. Take turns throughout the day and encourage children to take periodic swim breaks to give everybody time to relax and recharge.

Bruno has been adopted!! He is off to an amazing life with a wonderful family! Look at all those smiles, Bruno is one happy pup. Bruno was rescued from the City of Stockton Animal Shelter with little time left, all due to no space at the shelter. An amazing foster swooped him up and now he has found his forever!! Happy tails Bruno and your new family โค๏ธ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ

As part of the Best Friends Animal Society National Adoption Weekend, adoption fees will be waived at 3839 Bradshaw Rd for all dogs and cats, including puppies and kittens, from Friday, September 15th through Sunday, September 17th.
