🐶🚫🐥 Does your dog know the “leave it” command? It’s a very useful command. Today it saved this baby bird, but it can also save your dog too if they are about to grab something toxic like a pill that falls to the floor or touch something more dangerous like a snapping turtle. Give us a call if you’d like recommendations for a trainer to help teach your dog this skill.

Rabid Raccoon in Clayton Borough

Residents in the vicinity of Madison Ave, Clayton Borough should be aware that a raccoon tested positive March 15, 2023. There was one human exposed.

The Gloucester County Health Department would like to remind you to be aware of this incident and take appropriate safety measures for all children and pets. Rabies is a deadly disease caused by a virus in the saliva of infected animals. If left untreated can cause death. Post exposure treatment is needed immediately. 🌼 Based on current CDC information/guidelines for the counties we service masks are no longer required indoors. However, our staff will still be wearing masks to help keep our clients safe as we are in & out of people’s homes all day. We do recommend masks be worn by our clients but they are no longer required, so you’re able to choose the option you’re most comfortable with.
