We are so excited to get started on this year’s breedings! We have two due in December. Our first featured doe is Oak Spring Meadow’s Cherry 2*P. She is bred to our newer buck Mosaic’s Espresso Chip *b. These are two of our flashiest goats. But tons of milk is behind the looks. Cherry code from my most parasite resistant line. And so far Chip has been amazing as well even moving here to the south from the Midwest. All Bucklings will inherit their *b. Doelings will be super milky. It makes my heart sad thinking about letting this sweet baby go. But I have already hit my max retention of heifers this year. So she is looking for a loving new home. She is on track to be 40” or less full grown. She was 20” at birth and staying very tiny. She is super friendly and loving. When I had to pull tail hairs I felt so bad. But right afterwards she still followed me around. 🤗 She is being weaned, so she is ready to go next week. my entire herd is tested for blv, bvd, Johne’s and brucellosis.

His maternal great granddam and grand dam have milk stars. His dam is a first freshener so she will be tested for her milk star. If she gets that he will be a *b buck as well.

This buckling comes from my favorite line of goats and my new buck. His dam is a first freshener both her dam and granddam have earned their milk stars. As well as her sire is a *b buck. I will plan next year to milk star test her. If she gets that he would become a *b buck. His sire is a *b buck and has milk stars on both sides.

Update! Deposit has been received. She is now sold!! Tks!!

This doesn’t happen very often so if you’ve been waiting for an opportunity to buy a cow trained to milk, in milk and bred back. Here it is!!!

Cricket is a 4 year old mid sized jersey. She is 47” as her permanent height. She has had 3 healthy calves so far. She is good in all four quarters. No history of mastitis. She peaks at about 5 gallons of milk on oad milking.

Cricket is a2/a2 bb/bb hetero polled
She is currently in milk after having a calf October 15. Her dam is a small standard jersey. Her sire is mini jersey bull south house dapper Dan.

She is bred back to mini jersey bull Lorrie’s Luck Farm Braveheart. He is 36” a2/a2, bb/bb, hetero polled. The calf is guaranteed to be a2/a2 as well as bb/bb. http://www.minijerseydairy.com/braveheart.html

She is due Nov 13, 2024. Bred via AI. Two out of three of her calves have stayed minis.

She has current disease tests from October 2023 for blv, bvd, Johne’s and bruc. She is negative on all. She will be ready to leave in June for her new location. Transport can be arranged.
