Looking at doing a t-shirt order in this design depending on the interest. I had a couple of these made so I could see if I liked them or not and I was very impressed. These are the good quality, light weight shirts that won’t shrink, and the softness is unbelievable! I’ll need to get $20 apiece on them and would prefer they are pre paid for. Venmo or Paypal is fine. Just need to see how many I need before I place an order. These are printed on the back.

Finished up a pretty special one today! The colors in this guy were incredible! Lower breast feathers almost looked like they were made of weathered wood. I was asked to make a habitat top of a wheat field in rows, and the client would build his own pedestal below it. Each blade of grass was trimmed and individually placed. The gentleman that harvested this awesome trophy drove across several states to bring it to me. There’s some great turkey taxidermists between his place and mine and I’m definitely humbled he chose me for the task.

Just wanted to give a shout out to everyone. Turkey season this year has come and gone and was fantastic! I stayed real busy taking turkeys the last month or so. I want to thank everyone that came to see me, those that thought of me, and those that referred me to others. Had many repeat customers as well as a bunch of new ones. I’m excited to work on everything that came in and happy to have met so many new friends.
Now that I’m back to work, I have several turkeys on my list to get finished up in the coming weeks. After that I plan to jump into a few ducks and pheasants that are up to do, then back on some more turkeys again. I have some pretty unique mounts I will be sharing soon and can’t wait for you all to see them! Until then, here’s a beautiful bull pintail I mounted shortly before turkey season started. Customer wanted to show the back which was a little difficult to avoid having his head in the wall, but it turned out great! This guy was so difficult to photograph. The pictures just don’t show all the action in him like it was in person

So the other image I shared had mixed reviews. Most were in favor, and I liked it myself. But when printed on hats/shirts, it was going to be more challenging since it was from a combination of actual photos. So in my quest to combine something that will talk to both my turkey peeps, as well as my waterfowl peeps, I thought about this. I like the way it pops, yet stays clean and simple. Still in thoughts, 🤔 but leaning this way.

This is a different angle of the young man’s first turkey I shared a picture of yesterday. I was able to get it mounted during our spring turkey season between meeting clients and skinning turkeys.
Look closely at just how unique his feathers are. Have you ever seen a turkey with crimped breast feathers? They are pretty rare and very beautiful. The natural crimping on the feathers really pop and shine in good lighting. I have only seen a handful in over 20 years of mounting turkeys. Something to keep in mind if you ever harvest one like this.

Thinking about changing my profile picture on my page. Kind of hate to because I feel some folks new to my page may recognize my original photo easier if they are searching for me. What’s your thoughts?
Also curious if anyone would wear this on a shirt or hat? If you don’t care for it, that’s cool too. Just looking for all feedback.

Hey everyone. Hope your turkey season has been good to ya. If not, don’t give up! There’s still time to fill a tag or two.
I wanted to share a mount idea many of you may not have seen. If you’re wanting to get a turkey mounted but they cost a little too much, or you can’t spare the space they take up, these 1/2 mounts are great! They are significantly less price vs a lifesize mount and they don’t take up as much room. These come with habitat and the barnwood shelf which can hang as seen here or sit free standing on a table or mantle.
