Updates for 2025🗓️

-New paperwork, updated rabies certificate, and vaccination records due at your first booking in 2025. If you need new forms please text us the email you would like them sent to.

-Effective June 1st, we will no longer accept soresto collars as a flea/tick preventative. This decision has been in consideration for months. Unfortunately there has been too many reports to the manufacture and veterinarians that parasites are now resistant to them. If you need help picking a new prevention please consult your veterinarian. As a reminder, prevention is required for all daycamp, boarding, and board & train attendees.

-Leptospirosis vaccine is now being considered a core vaccine for all dogs, and now is a requirement for all client dogs attending programs. The vaccinations we require are:
Rabies, Distemper, Leptospirosis, Parvovirus, and Canine Hepatitis. We also highly recommend the Bordatella vaccine.

-Boarding/ Board & Train dates for 2025 are filling up quickly. If you have a vacation or trip planned and intend to book, please reach out as soon as possible to ensure your booking.

Meet “KeKe”, a young Borboel is here for our board and train program.

If you’re not familiar with the Borboel, they are a South African Mastiff. This Breed is not for the faint of heart, or the average person. They require an experienced owner. This breed is very impressive…they are large, powerful, dominant, and have strong protective instincts. Unfortunately, this breed has gained popularity at an alarming rate in the pet world over the last year. Luckily for Keke, she has a dedicated owner who did his research on the breed before owning one. This breed requires a lot of training, which can be difficult because they are stubborn and powerful. Additionally, this breed needs dedication and lots of socialization, exercise, knowledge..ect

You cannot keep this breed cooped up in your house all day.

Many are not prepared when they get a breed like this. PLEASE research the breed of dog you are thinking about getting! If you need help I am always available to assist you in your research.

Board & Train- Belle, the young rescue bully mix!❣️

We only take one dog at a time for these programs because, during your dog’s stay, he/she is a part of our family! With that being said, that means there are endless training possibilities. Tonight’s training session primarily focused on engagement and impulse control while the fish tank was being worked on (this is a lot of noise and motion).

I can’t express how important it is using real life moments as an advantage in your training! Small moments like this will make a huge difference in your training and relationship. LIFE IS TRAINING

Would you be shocked if I told you my 7 month old puppy (who is owned by a dog trainer), knows NO commands like sit, down, shake, or stay?

You may ask why? ….

Puppies are a blank slate. During their young age they make associations to everything they see (good or bad). Due to this, when they are young, it is in your best interest to focus on things like:
positive socialization, house manners, potty training, crate training, proper greetings, impulse control, recall…ect

Trick training can be taught at any point in a dogs life. This is why I choose to focus/prioritize only fundamental skills for my puppies training. Once those are skills are set, I will move onto teaching other commands!

🌟 Meet Ender! 🌟

Introducing our charming Foster and Train dog, a young (1yr old) Border Collie!—he is a brave little soul who’s navigated some tough times in his young life. He came from a hoarder and neglect case. With that being said, he is going to need a patient and understanding home!!

Here is some information on him:

-He is up todate on vaccinations
-Registered ABCA
-Crate trained, and working on potty training (upon arrival he was very “dirty”)
-Moderate food drive , low toy drive (he never saw or experienced anything before coming to me. His interests and drives build more everyday)
-Social with all dogs, cats and people. He can be pushy with other animals without boundaries.
-Two weeks ago he was diagnosed with congenital hip dysplasia. It does not affect him and should not with management. He would thrive in a moderately active home.
-He will have basic obedience before leaving here. At this time, I’ve been focusing on giving him life experiences and letting him become a dog.
-Is intact now, will be neutered before leaving.

He is available for meet and greets😉

Wish Octavia, and Jess good luck! This will be their first showing together😄

Mondioring is a complex sport that aims to show the skill of the handler, and the training of the dog. The competitions includes a variety of obedience, jumps, and biting exercises. All exercises are completed without a leash or collar. This requires that the dog demonstrates a tremendous amount of control.
