Welcome Ruthie and Georgia to Cochran K9 Training! These mini golden doodles are both around 2 years old and are some wild child’s!

They are here to improve on and off leash obedience and develop an outlet for their energy! They have been so much fun so far!

Welcome Camper to Cochran K9 Training!

Follow along to see his progress… we’ve got a lot going for us already. He loves to play and is taking to me quickly! He’s here to learn some off leash skills, on leash manners (dude pulls like crazy!) and get some better control.

Mila, Willow, & Pepper!

Pepper and Mila completed a board & train program with me awhile back. Willow was just added to the family, she is 5months old.

Their owners are out of town so they are all here for boarding, but we will be doing some training too. Willow is going to be an ongoing evaluation and the other two I have a task to train that I’m excited for.

Welcome Nellie to Cochran K9 Training! Nellie is an almost 2 year old weimaraner. She is here to learn recall, improve her obedience, develop a healthy outlet for her energy and build confidence.

Shes been here for 2 days now and I’m starting to see her personality come out. She won’t be a nervous Nellie for much longer.

Taking a break from training won’t ruin it. I was out of town for a few days, I needed to send the dogs home.

4 full days of no training, I just told their owners to walk their dogs and have fun together.

Mario came back refreshed and ready to jump right back into his training with what seems like more enthusiasm and he’s retained everything.

Roro went home yesterday. His biggest issue was lunging, barking, and aggressing towards other dogs. From far away!

We went on a hike together, passed by dogs on a narrow trail and he was completely fine! He’s made great progress and I’m excited for him and his owners.

Moments like these, are what it’s all about.

Roro is ready to go home I think. He’s compliant, he’s fun, he’s a joy to have around. Prior to training he had to be taken out at odd hours to avoid seeing his triggers. Atta boy Roro!

Welcome Josie to Cochran K9 Training! Josie is a very energetic 2 year old English pointer.

Unfortunately she just developed a case of happy tail, hoping that I caught it early and it will heal quickly.

She’s here to work on off leash obedience and get a foundation of training so here owners can do much more with her.

Welcome Mario to Cochran K9 Training! He’s a 3.5 year old Bernese mountain dog/ cattle dog mix.

He’s got some anxiety issues, reactivity issues, and overall just doesn’t know what to do with himself.

Unfortunately he’s already been through a board & train where the trainer just focuses on eye contact and rewarding a place command with food… neither of which actually help him.

Over the next several weeks we are going to do our best getting Mario in better shape mentally and more at peace.
He’s a Buoy lookalike!
