This sweet senior boy arrived at HARP in heartbreaking condition—emaciated, struggling to walk, and battling severe demodex, a skin condition that left him with painful, inflamed skin. But thanks to the incredible care of our veterinary team, staff, and supporters like you, Beluga made an amazing recovery! 💙✨

Recently, he came through our clinic with his loving adopter, and we couldn’t be happier to see him thriving! He’s healthy, happy, and oh-so-loved in his forever home. Look at his incredible transformation! 🐾💙

🍀 Makeover Monday + St. Patrick’s Day = One Lucky Pup! 🍀

Great news—Wooly Bear has found her forever home! 💚 This tiny 6 lb. firecracker got a brand-new look thanks to our friends at The Dog Stop, and now she’s off to start her next adventure with her new family. 🏡✨

She came to us as a stray, but after some TLC (and a LOT of brushing), she stole hearts and found the perfect match. 💕 We’re so happy for this sweet girl and can’t wait to see her thrive in her new home!

🌿🐰 The First Babies of the Season Have Arrived! 🐰🌿

Spring is here, and so are our first wildlife babies of the year! On March 8th, our Wildlife Rehabilitation Center welcomed three tiny Eastern Cottontail orphans after their mother was tragically killed by a dog. These little ones are healthy but far too young to be on their own. 💕

Right now, they’re on a strict bottle-feeding schedule and will spend the next two weeks developing essential survival skills—like foraging, hiding, and identifying predators—before they’re ready for the wild. Did you know that Eastern Cottontails are the most common species in our care? Last year alone, we admitted 1,183 cottontails! 😲🐇
